Make-up is an art, like painting a picture.... enhancing what you have. NOT painting your face!

If you "look like a clown" with make-up, then you are obviously NOT in need of make-up! You have a natural beauty!

Stuff like mascara is only to enhance eyelashes.

Dark shadow is only to lightly shade around eyes........ you can Google "make-up" tips. Same with high-lighters.

There is an old saying that make-up is only for when you NEED it ... like when your natural beauty begins to fade with age.

Nein, when one wakes up in the morning one does not, simply put, look quite as glamorous as one looked the evening before .... just a bit paler and not quite as delicious.

The guy also does not look quite so great.

Putting on make-up for going out is showing the world, and one`s partner, that one cares about one`s appearance ..... and has respect for the partner in trying to improve one`s appearance.

Hey Darl, you need to read what we have written here, and all the follow up comments.

What the ladies are saying is that if ...IF.... the face is layered with "crack-filler" then the lady really has NO clue how to use make-up!

Well, I look at it this way ...... No-one has ever been able to prove or disprove the existance of God ....... so I`d rather gamble on Him being there, than have a big surprise one day......

And then another thing ..... How does anyone measure what is "right" and what is "wrong" in behaviour ....? ... if there is nothing to measure it against?

With NOTHING ..... we may as well all just be raving beasts and lunatics, taking what we want, when we want it ..... maiming and killing anything or anyone who gets in our way... and enjoy our own selfishness.

Why do we all have a "consciousness" of decent behaviour? Where do we think it came from? Did it somehow grow with us through our evolution out of the mud?

Who or what instilled instinctive behaviour into wild creatures..?..amd Why?

Also, how sad that most people have never had any "supernatural" experiences that can prove to them there is a Higher Intelligence than our own earth bound one.

How do girls win beauty pageants?...... By the clever use of make-up!

Ever seen a Beauty Queen without her make-up? I have ... she looked like a pale little mouse.......

The secret is in the Clever Use of Make-Up ..... not plastering it on.

So ... men who dislike women using make-up are mixing with the wrong women ... women who actually have no talent for the use of make-up!

And ... the women they admire for "not using make-up" are just being fooled by the womans skill in application!

WINTERINHAMBURG .... Now you had some really sad Christmas`s ..... sure this next one will be more happy for you (Tis the sad times that make us appreciate the happy times)

Phoenix, dear man, is still expecting ladies to go thumbing lifts to France to meet him!

Me ... I had a really strange Christmas this year. I got sick! and did not smoke for the entire week between Christmas and New Year! (that means I was really really sick!)

But then ... on the last day of the year I was invited to go do the traditional Swissy thing .......with a family who`ve been doing the same thing every year for the last 26 years ...... meet up, drink Schnapps, then walk to the forest, to a hut, where they made a big log fire..... We all sat around drinking wines, and cooking swissy sausages on the fire, and eating "Guetzli`s" (traditional home-made Swissy Christmas biscuits) while they all sang songs........... then trudged home in the snow, to go drink more wines, and schnapps.....

What was so nice was that when we finished at the hut ...... the Dad of the family built the fire up really big and huge .. for the next family to arrive (temp was minus 9c) ... and left a bottle of wine on a tree stump for them!

So Christmas is finished for this year now..... and now it`s 2011!

Maybe one should take closer looks at our own lifestyles, and things we take for granted?

There are NO guarantees once one has Life here on this Earth ... The ONLY guarantee is that you NOT gonna get out of it alive!

No life (or death) is wasted .... IF something is learned from it. And, in my opinion, the reason for us being here is to learn "something" ... whatever it is...... from our own lives, and those around us.

A baby is born and lives for 6 hours only. A two year old dies. Another person lives for a hundred years. Some go senile. Some live long and happy lives, some live short and happy lives.

Reasons? The same reasons the ant you stepped on yesterday has no clue why he had to die ..... you (God?) stepped on him cause he was so small and insignificent to you. In the meantime, before you stepped on him, he was a happy fulfilled little ant doing what he was designed to do ......... ..... with no clue that yesterday was gonna be his last day on earth......
