RE: There Are Those Who Think Stonehenge Was A Graveyard Around 3,000 B.C.

Archeology is my life-long love. It was my dream as a child growing up. Had circumstances been slightly different in my life, its what I would have pursued as a career. However, I am so grateful to be alive and present in this age of discovery! yay

RE: There Are Those Who Think Stonehenge Was A Graveyard Around 3,000 B.C.

Its interesting when you put together the pieces that we DO know about it.

It was built of Bluestones quarried miles away and floated downriver to the site.

It was a cooperative generational undertaking.

They are located along with other standing stone sites, on the Ley-lines (the natural energy grid that encompasses the Earth)

The site emits measurable, electrical energy. people who touch the stones or sit quietly inside the circle do feel something.

It definately served a ceremonial purpose yet the site itself is pristine...

But most interesting at least to me, is that are ancestors were very aware of energy/technology that has been lost to us in modern times. Its a mystery that has an effect on people all over the world hmmm daydream

RE: There Are Those Who Think Stonehenge Was A Graveyard Around 3,000 B.C.

Well, its believed that if it WAS built by manpower it took approx 400-500 years to build. So that suggests that ancient man was faaaar more cooperative than modern man. peace
