You live in an environment of total paranoia, clutching a gun and shooting at shadows...Always imagining the worst. Thoughts are powerful. What you put out there into the universe will manifest in your life...I simply couldnt live like that.
As hard as it may be to do, I think you should go home. Go and be with your Mom during her illness. From there you can rebuild your life. This husband sounds like a monsta to me and it speaks volumes that you are still considerate of his feelings.
My motto is ....If your unhappy with your life change it. Everyone has the right to be happy and being a happier person is the best gift you can give your daughter.
