I'm sorry you even are asking this question. It is so tragic. Some have a mental depression they may not even be aware of. They are just so sad. The sadness is overwhelming.
They are not thinking clearly, not thinking about how their suicide would impact their loved ones. They might even think that everyone will be better off without them.
The feeling of having someone close to you take their own life can make you wonder what you could have done to prevent it. It's futile to wonder that, but I still do wonder about my old friend who shot himself.
He left two wonderful grown kids, his daughter was expecting within a month of his death and it really crushed so many people.
