RE: Are we all just a Game ?

Did you see the movie "Fight Club" ?

You could just attend different support groups.

RE: does what someone does for a living (earn their pay) influence your decision to date them

What about a pharmacist?

ha ha lawyers, that's right, I agree but not all lawyers swindle.

How about one of those lawyers that defends people's rights?

I don't know if insurance agents swindle, I guess you could blame the company they work for.

What about a car salesman??? that is a scary option.

There is dishonesty and honesty in every occupation.

How about mechanic or a taxi driver?
They have the potential to swindle, or not to.

Just wondering, what about fishermen ?

How about egg farmer?

I am wondering seriously, not joking.

RE: Are we all just a Game ?

Well you have to start somewhere, coffee is acceptable for a first meeting. Lunch is ok, Dinner is nicer.

RE: Are we all just a Game ?

But how cool IS THIS? For the most part, it gives thousands of people the opportunity to do something when they would otherwise be sitting alone in front of a TV or alone...

The single mom who can't leave the house, people who don't have a lot of money to go out, but can afford internet. I remember being a teenager, only child, alone at home most nights. I would have LOVED to be online, chatting with friends, meeting new people.

I see how my son stays in touch with people from where we used to live.

No matter how hurtful it can become, it is better than the alternative. The thing is, for a lot of us, internet came of age well after we became accustomed to live without it. So maybe we have tended to take it a bit too seriously.

My son on the otherhand, when he was about 12, was warning ME to be careful of who I was chatting with. He used to joke about how it's probably some 40 year old guy in his underwear! HA HA ...

This is better than the alternative for so many people.

RE: Peace Eternal...

angel

RE: vocational schools, community college, and universities.....why

Totally sucks. I know a lot of colleges do transfer credits, you have to check before even registering.

So sorry to hear that.

RE: Little White Lies....What do you think??

Then you would want to accompany her while shopping for her clothing so you can give the honest opinions and help her choose the most flattering items.

RE: Little White Lies....What do you think??

Have you been looking in the homeless shelters?

RE: Little White Lies....What do you think??

Sorry this is pertaining only to relationships, not life in general.

I stand by my answer.

RE: Little White Lies....What do you think??

Sure there are, there are little white lies.

I've heard from a religious relative that ALL SINS are equal, such as stealing a candy bar is equal to murder!

I think there are big destructive hurtful lies and little white lies.

Telling your mother her hair looks nice is be a little whie lie. Telling your mother she is a good driver just might be a destructive lie.

RE: The Moral Compass....

Me too! Responsibility and caring teenagers are all over the place. Get them one on one or a few in a room, they are sweethearts. Put them in a pack, and they act like teens, like I remember they did when I was a teenager.

My boys were raised mostly by me. They tell me the truth about who and where they have been. I can guide and talk to them but ultimately, they will be left to make their own decisions, better to make them when they are younger so they can learn early.

RE: Its been ??? long sense...........

Ask leatherman66 I think he knows

RE: Its been ??? long sense...........

I need support pushing me to paint something every day, even if it is just a little bit. Every day if something gets done here, it may start to feel like a home instead of a shell of a house.

RE: Would You Risk Your Life...

I think I would if it were for a child. It depends on the circumstance. I'm not going to risk my life to get someone's purse back, I've heard of people getting shot and killed for trying to rescue some material item for some stranger.

There are a few people who depend on me daily.

RE: I am sure glad we gots _______!

HEY you can float to the kitchen, without gravity my body parts would not be falling !!!!

RE: Being homeless-

The resources were only for the MEMBERS of the church?
That is disheartening.

RE: Do women: your view of Firefighters?!!!

You are the firefighter, do you think you are under or overpaid? Do you think the occupation itself is over or underpaid? How about the benefits? Vacation time? What do you think?
