Yes, learning a bit of the languages I think is a great idea.
My son will be 18 soon is is considering it with a few of his friends.

I think it's a great idea, his friend has relatives in Ireland.

Ever notice how some people just can't seem to get an original thought? So they search the net and copy and paste everything? Happens alot. Sure some of it is interesting, I mean the jokes, even those are extrememly redundant. Or is it possible that every topic or every angle has been addressed? What's the solution? Let me google it and find the answer. How can anyone even claim to know how to communicate when google is their best friend? What happened to using our minds? What happens in real life when decisions are to made on the street. Do you borrow an Ipod to get you answer, or use you own mind.? Thanks for reading my rant of the day. Peace

Since my son has been on vacation, I have not cooked once ! Just salads or instant oatmeal, yummy...

Since you are learning to cook I would suggest you not use any salt, get used to eating without it. Try to start out getting used to eating healthy!

Use olive oil and try stir frying veggies that you like, maybe with some sliced beef or boil chicken and throw that in too.

Sounds like you have got it covered !

I won't drive any distance though, because if they don't live close I see no point, unless they want to drive the whole way.

I will give them my cell phone # and always meet them in a public place away from my home, next city over.

I've met a lot of guys there, but no one ever made round 2. No chemistry.

Sadly, so many of us have lost our mothers. I'd love to have her back in her healthy walking around stage in her life. I miss her so much.
