i reckon if i'm not the oldest on this thread i must be one of the oldest and you girlies are so cynical! - is old romance dead? back in the 16th century people fell in love with each other through writing letters and up to the 20th century this still went on! the internet is just the modern version of this. what do you do when you meet a guy here, talk silly stuff, try to impress, make a date for next week or three days time, whatever your rules are! when you meet someone on the net, you talk about the same stuff yet without the distractions of getting another pint and minding you don't get run over crossing the road.
you are also confusing being 'in love with' and 'loving' someone. i was in love with robert redford for 2 years before i knew what lust was! i know a personal friend who fell in love with someone on the net - they are now partners, i suppose you just have to be open to the idea and allow the chance for it to happen. if you stick to saying it's not true you can't do that - you never will.

well it's north africa, not quite the same as say a southern europian country. if you go to her fb account you can look who her friend in tunisia is - it can take a while to go through depending on how many friends she has. then when you find him you can go to his page and see who his friends are - it might make you feel better about it if he looks alright....

if you like i will tell you how to put up a pic it's easy. i don't really like when there is no pic - you have no idea who you are dealing with, having said that i got my first scammer this morning - he looked gorgeous, had to really force myself not to reply to his marriage proposal i always think if he doesn't have the guts to put up a pic there is no way he's going to be able to handle a woman (well a me type of woman anyway!)

how come you do - it's like believing that fairies are real, there is as much proof to support the existence of fairies and a teapot orbiting mars as there is to support the existence of a any god. i believe there was a time when humans needed the guidance of some higher being to give them direction, rules and morality. some of us have just surpassed that need.

if someone cited religion as a reason for not getting married, they just don't want to get married, if your religion gets in the way of you marrying someone then it is doing a better job than any form of birth control - which is a little ironic
if you sincerely want to marry someone of a different religion you will find a way.

ah! but if she ever goes up for election again - think of all the votes!..as for the cute ones, they are cute and very well 'trained' i think they have hordes of little gymnasts in eastern european countries - these two were sent forth because they have the 'cute' factor! am i just being too cynical - also have a thing about kids under 16yrs being in these shows - but that's just me!

success is where you are rewarded by society or peers for achieving certain things like a level in career or sport.

excellence is something you would achieve for your own work or activities. you can be excellent at many things or few and feel very satisfied. you can have much success without excellence and be miserable...

i don't believe in all this 'if it's meant to be' stuff. if you want something you have to strive for it, you have a much higher chance of acheiving it. if college students thought that way for instance - none of them would get through their first exams...

i am really glad that i came across this thread, i have been on this site about a week now and have been hit on several times by very young and may i say very cute guys. however as some of you ladies above have mentioned i have a 23 year old son and i refuse to date someone as young as that. it's not about getting a 'name' that wouldn't bother me it's the maturity, and just don't find them attractive that way! i do get the feeling that some of them think i may be desperate - i'm definitely not, yet i understand for jersey and feel he is being sincere. i do think though that his case is probably the exception rather than the rule..good luck with it jersey.

am here less than a week and love this site already, i also love reading poetry. can someone tell me why people insist on posting commercial drivel there that they have not written and is not poetry? lines from hallmark cards do not class as poetry. this may be seen as just my opinion so i would like to hear what others think -
