i think he's english, about 13 - 14yrs old and bored. he acted like an adolescent and used slang words that i've only ever associated with native english speakers.

good question, some of the irish people on the forums i have already met or already know, then of course there is my main squeeze - i have all i need to know about him.. the rest of the people that i mainly engage with are in the poetry corner and i would miss some of them badly. if CS doesn't disappear in the immediate future i would like to visit with some of them as the opportunities arise - which i'm sure they will.

you are dead right about the college thing, but think of this, many of the people in higher paid jobs work really hard for their money. they take on a lot of responsibility and may have had to attend college for a minimum of 5yrs. now should we ask the people who got off their arses and have worked really hard to get where they are to pay more? are we not just encouraging them to take their businesses/skills elsewhere. remember the 'brain drain' of the last recession, there is a fine line between being fair and being unfair.

why have dole at all? why not ask people on the dole for more than 2yrs to work in some way for their community? it would save money used for the dole, get jobs done and create employment for the people administrating and supervising it. just a thought!

you won't be paying the same - you will be paying the same percentage - 7.5% of €100 is €7.50 - 7.5% of €200 is €15
the more they earn the more they pay!

if we don't like what they want us to do and don't give us a good enough reason for it - they are few, we are many, we could protest.
