By "everything" do you mean info from sources such as religion, political, environmental, medical. I used to trust the EPA until my own job there became political and one of the agencies priorities became mitigating light pollution. Now, today I mostly trust weather forecasting sources and Doctor Google.
Those vacations mist have been fun. Never been to either places. I've only been to Mexico twice but I've lived or vacationed close to the Mexico border in California and Texas several times. Bottled water is a must for me in most of these places.
