My Mam sent stuff over from England until we got to 21. I reckon that if you were to stop it suddenly it would deffo send out a signal. Maybe when they hit 21 reduce the presents to cards with a lotto ticket or something.
True. I'm on another couple of sites and the amount of 'scammers' trying to make contact just makes me very wary of someone that is not inclined to have at least one pic of themselves. And yes, 'scammers' do use fake pics too ... I guess it's like anywhere - folk need to be wary and make judgements based on experience.
I find my gut instinct seems to be right most of the time in finding out if someone is the real deal or not.
If you actually took the time and effort to check out my profile you would see 4 pics showing me. The 'cat in the hat' is for the season that's in it. I've been here nearly 2 years and I think most folk that I've met or gotten acquainted with are well aware of my cat obsession.
My thoughts exactly. I always get the sneaking suspicion they might be married or something... Yep, plenty of folk are using sites these days. I don't see any shame in it.

Lets face it - any mobile that you would give a 14yr old has a camera, so there's no excuse really. I would imagine that some women could have an inferiority complex and may not be comfortable with their face on a relatively anonymous site, but come on... at least one pic of yourself can go a long way.
Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc. etc. But I always get the impression that anybody hiding behind a 'no pic' profile is possibly hiding something else.
I reckon they'll go for an all out ban. It'll be 'policed' the same way as mobile phones - catch as catch can... just something else they can add to whatever they pulled you over for in the first place.
