Well Steve, I usually live by the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Gillard brought this topic up during the last few days of her election campaign. Seems it was a last ditch attempt to bolster some support for the Labor Party's chances of remaining in power.

And now she's climbed into bed with the greenies and is in the process of luring the 4 independents as well. So who knows what's her real agenda?

I reckon the number of views to the threads is double the real figure.

Just went back to some old threads and noticed each time I viewed them it counted as two. And I was offline as well.

So, there may not be as many lurkers as one thinks.

Contrary to the title of this thread, Australia does have a government and Gillard is still Prime Minister.

When the wheeling and dealing is done with the independants and the greenie, the GG will be informed and an new government formed.

And it doesn't really matter who is PM. It just ain't going to work.

I most likely won't be of any help....... I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to the IT caper..... but I use a Mac and find I have the same problems occasionally.

It seems to happen when I have too many applications open, especially Photoshop.

I just shut down, re-boot and it's normally fine again.

You know... I've been trying to figure out how Jesus is going to spread the word the next time he pays us a visit.

The world has certainly changed since the last time he was here..... it's now much larger than that part of the globe that was once considered the centre of the universe. And we don't get around on donkeys or foot anymore.

Then there's communication. Don't worry about word of mouth...... there's radio, television, newspapers, the town park....

I got to disagree with this notion that we vote for a leader..... we're not having a presidential election.

We choose a representative in our respective electorates. The parties choose their leaders.

But that's the Labor Party for ya. In NSW we've had two changes of Premiers during this current term.
