Putin does affect other people lives but not every life in this planet and certainly not the lives of the universe (assuming there is life in it).

There are many variables to be considered in the analysis of the economy-human development, etc of a country/region.

The west is getting divided into little entities-countries while the east is getting "bigger" gluing several countries in economic/trading deals.

In no way, I would support police's brutality or anyone's brutality against anyone ( not matter their political affiliation, religion, gender, etc...).

The brutal actions of the police is a consequence I was asking you for the cause.

For the record, I do believe that the "Separatista" movement -at this time- is adding more problems to the mess the EU already has.

Perhaps, in another time and under other circumstances "Cataluña" could get independence from Spain, they could borrow some Catholic Priests from here

A few pots in my balcony is all I have and hummingbirds

Recently I have adopted two pigeons (or they adopted me?). They came around one of the kitchen window and it was a couple (husband and wife ) so I was excited they might make a nest and have their chicks by that window (so I could see them) so I placed some bread crumbs and chopped almonds for them. Those pigeons are smart because they ate the almonds and left the bread so the second day I did not gave them almonds until they finish (quasi) the bread, then they had some almonds again.
