When it comes to Christmas, Do you go along with the hype , the excess, the madness of shopping in huge crowds, the waste, the unwanted gifts, the debt incurred for people that can't really afford it.
I for one am not a traditionalist, and don't go along with all the madness !
Did you have a wet suit? Was it in Uk, or warm country? Members of my family are going for a swim on Christmas day, the very thought of it gives me the shivers!!
I had a very nice time with someone, at mine, some time ago i said this is the last time, but i may very well change my mind after nice phone call today, the jury is out.
But John, we get the option to get mail from certain places or not. i put in my choices, but it didn't happen, that is all i was saying. I wasn't complaining at all, i don't sweat the little things. I'm a survivor Ya know!
Why would i want to get mail from places too far away , i most likely wouldn't meet them i'm not looking for a pen pal. I get plenty of mail nearer home!
That changes from time to time, i say that i won't do certain things from time to time then change again depending on circumstances, like how i feel at certain times. I hope that makes sense!!
Thank you for that Bodleing, that is what i think, and what i have done, and thankful that i was able to do it,, it does indeed release me from any suffering and has made me stronger, i know that there are people that don't agree with this, but for me it was the only way ,and best for my well being.!
Oh i agree, nothing is instant, in time though, if something is still eating you up, with regard to what happened, isn't that bad for us, if we can't move on from it ?

Isn't it futile, to hold grudges, and to stay angry, for things that happened in the past,, who does that affect only ourselves. Is your opinion different from mine?

Each to their own, it's not for me.I loved it as a child, and have great memories, but i hate excess and waste.
