I hear ya! I used to love to read the newspaper in the morning with my coffee...always did the crossword...now I check Facebook, my email accounts...and of late the CS forums...
It isn't with sorrow I look back on...as a matter of fact it was me that put an end to it...
It is as "K" said...nothing stops the hands of time...one day I looked in the mirror and realized I was giving the "prime of my life" (because that is when women are in their prime mid 30's to mid 40's) to someone I had no intention of spending the rest of my life with..
Been there...done that...enjoy it while it lasts (mine lasted 8 years)...but eventually it does end...the age difference does take its toll...and begins to show..
I don't want to comment on the question itself, but often wonder about your question when a "sentence" has been passed down...
I was put in this position once (not the death penalty), but at the end of the day when I realized that nothing was going to bring my child back....did destroying other lives really make sense...Its not just the life of the "perpetrator" that is affected here...its their extended family too...and THEY did not commit a crime..
RE: For all the Single Parents
When my daughters were pre-teens, they were the ones that encouraged me to find someone...it made "dating" easier knowing they were in my corner!
