That...actually was the point i was trying to make...the tragedy of her death and the fact that she has left behind a new baby daughter does NOT make her a "paragon of virtue"...
It is splashed all over the news because she was "famous, beautiful, rich and young"...but that's it!!
It just seemed that because some of us where finding it hard to go into a "self-imposed" mourning we were somehow being unsympathetic to the fact that a life was lost...we were not...we were just saying that her "life" did not inspire us to drop what we were doing and mourn the loss of this person...
You want "paragon"..."newsworthy"...worthy of mourning and tragedy... Princess Diana, Mother Theresa....now that's my opinion and i would not be angry if everyone did not see it that way....
The only time i wore a bandanna was on my "painter pants"...had to have the red/white on my white pants...and the blue/white on my jeans....or around my neck to hide my "hickies"...
Dougie I don't think anyone on here implied that her death at such a young age was a tragedy....and yes it is sad that a baby girl will never really know her mother...
However, I really just think the point trying to be made was the fact that everyone has decided "after the fact" that Anna Nicole Smith was some sort of martyr...if she did something to benefit others...or to help others out of the squalor she once lived in...I must have blinked and missed it...
Do you know how many babies there are out there right now that have lost one or both their parents??...the only difference between them and Dannielynn is that they are not a millionairess' daughter...and there aren't people fighting for the right to claim them...so no one knows or cares about thier fate....thats whats really sad...
Think back to your "hey day"...what was the fad or trend that you recall the clearest....the fad or trend you just HAD to be a part of or you were "nothing"
I remember my first platform shoes....Gawd...(*swoon*)...I was soooo in...the fact that i was still wearing socks because i wasn't allowed to wear nylons yet didn't matter...I wore them proudly anyways!! They were brown suede with red mushrooms on the sides...
I read on the cover of People magazine (and well actually every magazine our store carries) that there are 4 fathers laying claim to "paternity" and the 474 million dollar inheritance...
I hear so many people talk about the "drama" that goes on in this site...and see all the threads dedicated to it...and when all is said and done...I guess this site is a "drama" movie of sorts...
Well it got me to thinking what "famous" lines from other movies have we seen that could be applied to some of the people and/or threads we've seen and read on here...
The one that always comes to mind for me is...
"I want the truth!!!".............."YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"....
I have a cat named Esmerelda...she hates everybody and everything...
But i have a new puppy ...he's a bull mastiff...and he is just the sweetest "little" thing...such a handsome face he has!! The girls decided to name him Samson...though i still call him mouse...and cupcake...and well baby boy...
He's just turning 13 weeks tomorrow and closing in on 30lbs...
The Movie Line That Fits....
"Goodbye Mr Bond"....
