You can't fault people for being attracted to whatever body shape, hair colour, facial feature, or whatever it may be, that turns their crank. It doesn't make anyone any less of a gentleman, or a lady. quote]
As a gift I may give them a book "I couldn't put down" (that's usually how people step outside their "norm" and try different materials/authors), as well as a gift card to their local bookstore.
I renew my daughters membership card to Chapters every Christmas for her...
If you are staying for the coffee, is there any discussion about the fact that they are not who you think they are? Do you give them a chance to explain why?
If your "date" showed up and he/she was nothing like their picture/profile...would you continue with the evening? Would you be inclined to give them an opportunity to explain the "differences"?
I think we can all agree that what we wanted at 20 is not what we may want at 30, is not what we may want at 40...
My question is the longer you remain single, do you find that the "ideals" you once had in mind for your mate begin to dwindle? Does the list get shorter? What about "mistakes" in your past experiences...what you may have made a big deal about back then, no longer seems so important an issue now?
I am not suggesting that your "moral standards" have dropped...but moreso the "needs" in a partner...

I fully agree with you...but that's just it...everything else we are able to "prepare" for, because we can draw on someone else's experience...but death...we know its going to happen, but we are not really able to "prepare" for it, because we don't know what to expect (barring the obvious!)
I have a 150lb dog that spends most of his day waiting to lock my cat (who is very tiny for her age)...in the bathroom!
For whatever reason she decided she'd prefer to drink out of the toilet rather than the 3 different bowls of water i have throughout the house...so he waits...and waits...and waits..
Any of you out there have pets that do the strangest things?

Read some of the posts on here...and thought about the question...
Still can't wrap my head around how a DNA test would indicate who is the best partner for me...what is it about a "genetic profile" am I going to learn about that I can't "see" for myself?
When I worked at Family court there was a case there that involved two boys named Lemonjello and Orangejello, it was pronounced Le Monjello and Oran Jello
Love doesn't always have to dwindle out...it could get stronger as well.
Also, quarrels and lovers spats are just that...not necessarily a reason to separate...just because you love someone does not mean you have to agree with everything they say/do...
RE: Gentlemen? Do you really think they exist?
