True to oneself/self sabotage

Most of us have little personality traits, quirks, behaviors, whatever you want to call them,

that we know alienate or otherwise push some people away from us.


Is there a line between saying "I'm not about to start changing to try to please everyone", and plain old self sabotage?

If so where is that line, or is it just a big gray area between the two?

Judgment calls can be tough here, with the lack of facial expression or even vocal inflections to work with,

in all but a few rare exceptions it's best to watch a persons words over a bit of time before forming much of an opinion.

Hi Bama, I like them to do what is comfortable for them...it makes me more comfortable.

That said, I enjoy relationships that develop over a bit of time more than I enjoy instant gratification relationships.

It's kinda like pizza, microwave pizza is fine if you're real hungry,

but it's not nearly as good as the real thing.

Depends on the problem...

No fault(just no chemistry), I end the date as soon as I can without making her feel any worse the necessary.

At fault(she irritates me), I wrap up any pending business(dinner check, rides home), and end the date.

I am far more more picky long term then short term, far less influenced by the frills,

and far more influenced by connection and compatability.

The consumption of corn as livestock feed and fuel, does not have to be an either or type of choice,

some prohibition era distillers used the same corn for both applications, and the same can be done with fuel production.



That said...

Corn generates approx. 250 gallons of ethanol per acre,

sugar beets generate approx. 1000 gallons per acre,

and oddly enough cat tails generate 7000 gallons per acre,

if my memory serves and my source is accurate.
