And why would you feel it necessary to refer to him? This is exactly the kind of thing I was referring to with the whole "deliberate provoking" thing. People just aren't content with letting others be happy. We all have exes in our lives, but not many feel the need to bring them up at every opportunity. Meh, thanks for reminding me why it's best to stay away from here. I think that'll call an end to even occasional lurks. Best of luck leisure. Really.
If you ever go on fb Mes, find me. You were always one of the good ones.
Just a flying visit. Thanks guys, nice to know I'm being thought of. Baldy is right, couldn't be happier at the moment. Miss the forums on occasion but barring an occasional lurk to see how you're all doing, I've no interest in here anymore. Quite honestly, I don't think it's improved at all since I left and there seems to be as much bickering and deliberate provoking as ever. I probably wouldn't come back even if it went belly-up with me and sugar. For now it's a definite no though, going out with someone and dating sites aren't a good mix! And sure all the regulars have me on the other side Hope you're all doing well though
I'm just back for the one post to keep you up to date. Myself and sugar are still coming, but she's gone from your list and I'll be at least hidden cause of the way this place has gone so you can keep us on your list as people who are coming despite our absence from here. Look forward to meeting you Ger
You can have my share. Champagne does bad things to me..... so I'm told. The memory is a bit hazy. Heading up on the Fri and want to remember every min.
You know, there's a lot of loud mouths on this site who wouldn't say "boo" to a mouse in a coma in real life. How do you know I'm not one of them?? Huh???
1) it's a buyer's market at the moment. If you can afford it, do it. 2) depends what part of what country. Ireland is more expensive than the rest of the world but if you're savvy for good deals, you can usually get what you want. 3) depends where you go. I find an average restaurant (not early bird) with wine can usually be about 40 - 50 each 4) if you're in Dublin, you can certainly live without it. The public transport covers most areas (apart from where I work ). Anywhere outside the county, it's best to have a car. 5) one of the most expensive parts of living here. Some good pubs and clubs etc but pricey. 6) hard to do in pubs but there's lots of social clubs around and we love in a country where the after-work drinks are a tradition. But, like you said. Depends on you mostly 7) some do, some don't. You have to check that when you get the place. 8) yes but just the basics usually. You may have to buy a few things but bed, sofa tables and basic kitchen stuff is uually supplied but i'd check to make sure. (that's only for renting though)
