I think that it would all depend upon who is involved... for me dating a younger man would be awkward because of my life experiences... i am much older than my 34 years.... I have a 17 year old son... i think that puts me in a different category than a lot of women my age.... I am about to have a son graduate high school and a lot of women my age haven't even had kids yet... it all depends on the people...JMHO
I think most of the world is feeling the recession right now....it is always a cycle of ups and downs.. Irish are strong and resilient..... it will turn a corner.. maybe not soon but eventually...
I love the Irish people... I would definitely have to agree with the friendliness of the Irish.... some of the funniest and most down to earth people I have chatted with... Love the craic...Straight forward and to the point... but some of the best sense of humors....I want to live in Ireland... just don't know if that is possible with the state of unemployment and how hard it is to get a work visa there...
I looked into wicklow.. very expensive self catering compared to some of the other counties.... we are talking 180 euro a week compared to 380 Euro a week...
I am wanting to go stay in Ireland for about 3 weeks... I am looking into self catering and not renting a car, just taking bikes to the shops and immersing myself in the culture for a few weeks.. what would be the best place to stay? I have found a couple of really affordable places in Cork and Galway... what do you suggest?
thanks for the advice... i will do that....my maiden name is Cronin and I am told that my ancestry is from the cork region... one of the reasons I am considering cork....
I am not so concerned with weather.. it is the same as here in Seattle... but the summer is also the most expensive time to go... I would love to be able to go in May.... but I have to consider my son's school... I did find a self catering for about 1000 us dollars for 3 weeks in Cork.... thought that was a pretty good price...

we are women and we have the right to confuse you! What I mean is that it is natural for this woman to want to feel like a woman and have a strong man in my life. I do not want some moron who has to ask permission to take a leak! However I do not want some jerk who can't seem to get past himself and realize what amazing creatures we women are! If you have the true love of a woman you have it made! Just sayin....
It's not the bad boy that I want but I do want a man to take charge and make me feel like a woman. I mean that is why women are made to be round and supple and soft and men are built hard and firm right?
I'm sure they are here too... I just happened to grab mine when I was at the grocery store... I hope the weather is better when you get here... It's been pouring for a week straight here....
