How it came about was I'd been to see lightning seeds with someone earlier that year and they must have thought I'd like lightning seeds so gave me tickets as a gift. How they thought lightning seeds and lighthouse family music were similar I've still not managed to work out or maybe it was because both bands begin with "Light"
I've just found a packet of kettle descaler in back of my kitchen cupboard and considering whether it'll be safe to use on my budgies water dish and base of my hamster cages
It says general purpose on the front of the box, but only has pics of an iron and kettle on No pics of cages
Maybe it's only safe for stainless steel, in which case I could end up with big holes in both cages and hole in the water dish
Oh well, I'll probably have a go tomorrow. Nothing ventured, nothing gained
That video reminds me of way back in 1998 when someone had the very misguided idea that I'd want to go and see Lighthouse Family at Hull Ice arena. So, there I was stuck with two tickets which were only worth 25 quid so I advertised them for sale and a bloke contacts me saying he'd give me 100 quid for them as he had just returned from oil rigs and wanted to take his girlfriend to see them for a treat. So, I met him and he handed me the money for tickets. So, I was well pleased
I've only a small bath anyway "5 feet long" and very narrow. So, if I sat in with all hamster toys then they'd be no room for hamsters. Especially the one that's size of a guinea pig
I'm the same, can remember the day of her death as if it were yesterday. 31st August and was also my sons 11th birthday.
What a sad day it was Wow, he's 25 in a month so that must mean she passed away 14 years ago. Unless, I've got my maths wrong. Where have all those years gone
What made me laugh today apart from people getting their drawers in a twist about the is that I just visited hamster forum I use, and read about someone getting in the bath with their hamsters and toys to tame them
I'm a professional beggar. Everyday, I take my two birds and two hamsters and sit under the Humber bridge in my scruffiest clothes, unbrushed hair, cap 'n' hand.
It's an hard life but someone has to do it
As for enjoying it? Well, all I can say is I enjoy it more during winter as I'm no sunworshipper
RE: Why is it.........?
Dunno, I've experienced that myself thoughWow, welcome back Lily, not seen you on here for years
