Sorry you can not communicate with your ex.. My sons father and I went to councelling together so we could learn to understand eachother and get on for th sake of our child because he is who is most important. Thankfully it has worked and we go out and do the family things together and spend holidays together. Maybe coucelling could help in your situation too? I wish u the best of luck. I know how hard it is to be a single parent and ever harder when u want to share silly things and important things with someone xx
Yeh wanting a drink and needing a drink are completely different. 1 person can have a drink everyday and their is no impact on their life another can drink everyday and miss work, fight with the family etc this is the one that is an alcoholic. Doesnt matter how much you drink, its the way it effects your life!
Thank you! That is my thoughts exactly! My education is vital for me and my sons future and I was told that I was using college and my son as an excuse! Everyone seems to feel the same way, except her! I dont get it. Im just in shock she threw me out of the wedding!
My thought exactly.. I know right now she can not see past her own nose and after the wedding she will realise she was unreasonable but Im in 2 minds of sticking around for it. Not a cool situation altogether :-(
I know its very bizzare! She basically said if I dont go then im out of the wedding.. my gut tells me there is more to it and she is just not telling me.. Ive never ever let her down before and i said this to her as well and she didnt disagree. I met with her once last week and it didnt go very well and leaving her to it now.. I wont say another word to her but honestly, if this is how I am being treated is she really a friend at all?!! Maybe a tad bridezilla but I dont think I really have it in me to go to her wedding now. Would you go?
Yes I have but she said she is hurt as well as its a once off thing and the hen weekend is very important to her. I understand her being upset i wont be there but to kick me out of her wedding is just crazy. She's the God Mother of my son and we've been friend since we were 8!!

haha thats ok!! Thanks for the comment! She actaully kicked me out of her wedding and that a she wants a bridesmaid that would be there for everything including the hen weekend. Im so gutted and hurt! She wanted me to be a guest at her wedding and im really in 2 minds about it!!!
If you were getting married and your best friend of 20 years which is one of ur bridesmaids couldnt make it to the hen weekend away because it falls right at the time of her exams in college.. what would u do?! She is able to make the pamper night in before the wedding, all the dress fittings etc and weekend getaway after the wedding but just cant attend the hen weekend.... honestly, what would you do?!!
