Tis true, we shut the country down when the snow
falls.
But the trouble is, we do not get enough of it
for money to be invested in getting around it.

Five inches of the softest snow around me this
morning and it's still falling.

I went to sweep the garden path and put some bird
food out and there was a drift of over a foot at
the back door! Needless to say half of it fell
indoors! I hope the birds find the seed soon
as it is fast being covered up!

I think Mozart is the easiest on the ear of
the classics, love so many composers though,
Puccini, Bizet, Tchaikovsky,Debussy,
Holst (love the Planet Suites), so many more.

Saw Madame Butterfly, Carmen and some others
many years ago at Sadlers Wells, just amazing.

Never can watch ballet for long, too severe a
discipline for me, although Billy Elliot is
a favourite film of mine.
