I like the finches, they don't squawk like the budgie used to, although we taught him loads of words and he would perch on my shoulder and play with my earrings!
I hear you with the pitbull, but so many have caused terrible injuries or death to children here. I know many people over breed them (in breed) and of course still keep and train them just to fight although it's illegal, all very sad.
and for Healthyliving.....we are not old just because we are menopausal........it's just a stage we are going through, lots of life left in us.....................................................................................
We used to have a couple of goldfish, one orange one bronze,
my very small at the time son managed to pull the bowl over and water and fish all over the kitchen floor!
I got the orange one back in water immediately, but we had cork coloured tiles and it took me ages to spot the bronze one, in fact if it hadn't flapped it's tail fin I may not have got it in time! They lived for ages after.
