The word intelligence seems to embrace several things which makes it quite intangible and therefore hard to pin down.
I know we all have intelligence, it's just a case of how we use it, just opening our minds to take in learning and life skills and applying them in the best way for us to go forward in life as the very different people we are.
By the by Barren I like the way you write, I get bored sometimes with reams of words from posters as if we are receiving lectures but it all adds to the diversity of the forums.
Well I always thought that and yes can be very true,
but I'm going though the menopause and so don't get pms anymore but suffer from the darn hot flushes and the craving for chocolate at times remains, so maybe just a woman thing........
Among the airlines that have come to passengers’ rescue, BMI was one of the first, sending an airbus to bring customers back from Minorca. Ryanair has donated the use of a plane to bring people back for free, and Easyjet is offering fares for passengers whose deals were not covered by ATOL protection.
Among the latter unfortunate customers are those who booked directly with XL Airways or its accommodation arm, Medlife. They will have to make their own arrangements to return to the UK or pay for a seat on one of the planes being chartered by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which is coordinating the repatriation.
Customers will, however, be reimbursed if they booked through four other of the tour group’s many brands: the Really Great Holiday Company (we’ll leave the irony for later), Kosmar Villa Holidays, Freedom Flights and Aspire Holidays. Moreover, people who booked on a credit card or Visa debit card will be covered by their card company’s insurance.
Customers of XL stranded abroad can call the following CAA helpline: +44 2891 856 547. Those concerned` about future bookings can call 0870 5900927. Alternatively, the CAA website (http://www.caa.co.uk/) has further information, although it crashed this morning under the weight of inquiries.
Just copied this off msn, maybe some help, I do feel for your friends, such a shame, I know it's not consulation for losing the holiday, but hopefully they should be able to get their money back somehow!
