I have a tiny gas one flame stove and wind up torches for when the electricity goes off.

I have hand washed when machine broken and have a small tub which you wind the handle like an old butter churn.

I suppose it would be the fridge freezer for me too, in winter you could keep a few items outside, but the thought of shopping every day for what you need seems too much!
