Well apart from being made redundant from the job I enjoyed most (yes I did enjoy working) I'm just fine.
Life is a constant gentle shifting of the dunes, but I try to roll with it.
The hardest part is when someone you thought was a friend for life seems to stone wall you. Was it me (I know I'm not quite perfect!) or was it them, or a combination. I have come to the conclusion that it is not the end of my world and so try and stop raking it over in my mind.
Sorry for that, see it has been concerning me!
Anyway, my world is ok, I have moved to somewhere a lot cheaper to rent which was my main worry as I age and will eventually be alone to manage, so really all good.
Just applying for another couple of jobs which require a hand written letter, which poses no problems as my writing is very legible. Only concern is knowing whether to phase said letters in the usual staid fashion, or to try and be a bit adventurous with the wording. But then it all depends on the person reading it!
