Ignoring again the fact that the OP asked about number 7's.....For a true representation of the respective merits of Keane and Cantona have a look at their European performances...one had a habit of vanishing on the big nights while the other singlehandedly dragged performances from the team culminating in that famous night in Turin...
Well folks, what have ye made of the league so far?
Cork and Mayo are definitely the form teams and seem to be quite settled. Dublin will be there or thereabouts come August and September but still haven't put out a settled team. Ulster looks like it'll be as competitive as ever if not more so with Donegal, Monaghan, Derry and Tyrone all having shown good form. Cork seem to have the measure of Kerry but the provincial system means Kerry will still be there at the business end of the season....
You should apply for an A1 (formerly E101) certificate which states that you are insured for social security purposes in Ireland. This will exempt you and your employer from paying social insurance in the country to which you are posted. At least 4 weeks before you leave you or your employer should apply for the AI certificate. You can download the application form for an A1 (pdf) and it is also available from the PRSI Special Collections Section of the Department of Social Protection (DSP). When you get the A1 certificate you will continue to pay your PRSI contributions in Ireland. There are further details about PRSI and posted workers on the DSP website.
Sky will try. The 'Parish' means more the longer established clubs, like St Vincents, which had local feeder schools normally run by the clergy. Newer clubs in the suburbs would obviously have their borders more associated with housing estate borders than parishes.
As for the souls part I'm not so sure. A certain midfielder yesterday would sell his to the highest bidder
In all honesty it would mean more to the captain than it would to most. He is a devout christian and a religion teacher.
Ah Stan, ye're in 'transition' No need to be worrying just yet.
I'm just hoping Jim Gavin starts playing the first team soon. Yesterdays team had only 5 probable championship starters. We need to beat either Tyrone or Mayo to make the semi finals. Not a hope of that happening with the current team selection.
Ps. Congrats to G's former school on winning the Ulster title and best of luck for the All Ireland series
I don't disagree with the idea that people who have beliefs, even if it involves their reincarnation as a dolphin, can draw comfort from it. What questions it answers about life is beyond me though...
This was a funny game...Dublin were always in control but it has to be said that Kildare didn't deserve the trouncing it looks on the scoreboard. That being said they are staring relegation in the face now!
United would be better off missing out on the Europa League and using all the European match nights to play lucrative friendlies...the best way to make up for lost revenue
