Wow, that's insane about your pics being used like that and the sites wouldn't do anything about it.

I guess once we post pics on various sites, it's fair game to all and sundry to use. Someone on this site used pics of CS members including mine to create a youtube video so after that, I removed my photos.

I think that whatever the mods do are based on the reports they receive because they don't spend the time to read the threads but I could be wrong. Oh, I have seen it many times where a person will break forum rules continuously and get off scott free whereas others break one rule and sent to the naughty corner for weeks....there's no rhyme nor reason to it from our perspective but we've gotta hope that everyone is treated fairly when it comes to this.

Some folks just don't know when to let something go and all it does is escalate to the point where the mods will step in and the choice to ban ones self is made for them.

It's an option available to use and the site promotes using it as opposed to engaging in an argument with offenders but of course it's ones choice to use it or not.

Removing the banning option from a thread is a good thing because it was being abused by some who were intolerant of opinions that differed from their own. If someone is causing a problem on a thread, report it.
Digging back into the archives to back in 2007, I found a little gem posted by a moderator that's interesting and perhaps people still need a reminder.
