Sometimes people just get fed up of the nonsense that goes on in the forums and need to take a break and sometimes people have stuff going on in their personal lives and don't have time to join the forums.
Hiya Larry My hobbies are taking nature photos down at my favourite nature trails, some crafts, drawing, painting and all that neat stuff. Pastimes are watching movies, playing video games on PS4 or my Nintendo Switch and when I get real bored, I log onto CS to watch the Rock 'em Sock 'em fights in the forums.
Yep, rushed indeed and I believe that was due to them falling behind schedule. I was there on time for my appointment and had to wait a half hour to be called in. No worries, my doctor will hear all about it next time I see him.
Hiya Jo It's so good to see you "in the computer right now"
Well, it appears that this is the only clinic my doctor refers patients to but I will be letting my doctor know how I feel about the way patients are treated there and hopefully I won't be having to go back there too often after this initial visit if we can call it that.
Hiya Gal Yep, I've noticed this too but nowadays, patient information is kept on computers rather than in thick paper files but that shouldn't take away from the patient doctor experience. My doctor does spend time discussing everything and manages well with inputting information into the computer as he goes along and I like that. I went to a different clinic yesterday and there was barely a word spoken....just tapping away at the computer, writing a few chicken scratch instructions and barely spoke two words to me. Needless to say, I left that clinic feeling more confused and anxious than I was when I first arrived.
Ah, I peek in once in awhile to see if it's safe to swim and this thread looked like a good place to be. Don't be calling me any bad names but I do respond well to gentlemen.
Any trauma from separation and abandonment could be a part of it but given that the family has a history of some mental health issues, I'm leaning towards it being genetic as there has been research done that points to that possibility. This link explains it better than I can.
Thank you for your response and yep, what you say is likely true as well but I'm also inclined to believe that for some, it is inherent because my biological parents had eight children who were all given up for adoption all to different people and of those siblings I've managed to find over the years, they all suffer with some form of anxiety and/or depression.
Hiya Larry We're in for a lot of rain here in southern Ontario and the folks in the northern part of Ontario might be getting a lot of freezing rain. I'm currently building an ark. It's unusually mild here today at 8C and tomorrow when the brunt of the rain arrives, it will be 9C....that is when us Canadians start wearing shorts.
RE: Who Am I
Easy one...Marilyn Monroe but yeah, Garbo ain't gonna be happy that you're two timing on her.
