RE: Europe in recession, US in pain as world leaders meet

Thank you for your very kind words and smile.

I would advise caution in making statements such as, "I LOVE YOU " not sure how it works online but on paper that could be construed as a binding contract.... and now especially is not the time to sign any contract involving long commitments.laugh

but thank you for the vote of approvalblushing bouquet

RE: Europe in recession, US in pain as world leaders meet

due to government bureaucracy, Bush is still the man with the "button" and the ink pen with in arms reach... I have heard that Obama himself is not attending this "meetings" but those chosen by him are.( strictly on a observers status).

the little I have heard is, a possible restructuring of those one sided "free trade agreements".

RE: Manufacturers....and....Accountability

I'd love to see Pharmaceutical companies... I still have suspicions that many of todays diseases are accidents or by products of these corporations R&D departments.

RE: Europe in recession, US in pain as world leaders meet

the signs where evident a few years ago. from the Enron thing to the drastic drop in my Ford stocks.

Those that denied the storm was coming then.. my sympathy but,
I do not want to be punished or penalized because the masses
had their head up their asses.

I'm not clicking my heels in celebration,
I exercised a little common sense back then, I should not be sheered like the rest of the flock of sheep.

the Sheep herder s have been all but consumed by the wolves, and I survived the attack by not standing around the all but dead remains.

worry not about when the next sheep herder will arrive... enjoy the brief moment to free range feed.

CALIFORNIA WANTS "FACTORY SPECIAL EMISSION STANDARDS FOR THIER AUTOS

Hey California citizens get your Terminator to outlaw open flames of any nature... lighters, matches, Bar-b-que, grills, campfires, hell even the flaming drinks and cheese dishes.

Its not the automotive emissions polluting your state. Its all these damn fires you are unable to control... and another thing if you are forced to rebuild in the same area more than twice you should forfeit /be denied any compensation, federal state or insurance coverage to rebuild again.

come on 3 strikes your out.... whether you possess common sense or a senator in your back pocket or not.

If you receive federal or state funds you should not be able to sell the house for a profit either...

RE: Homeless man ordered to pay $101 million for starting Calif. fires

and for these educated college students what should they receive as a far punishment... story below

By SHAYA TAYEFE MOHAJER, Associated Press Writer

An anonymous tipster led police to discover that a bonfire built by students — and never fully extinguished — was responsible for the massive wildfire in Santa Barbara that destroyed 210 homes, including multimillion-dollar properties, authorities said.

The tipster told police 10 students gathered a week ago near an abandoned home in the hills of Montecito, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said Tuesday. They built a bonfire during the night and stayed until 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday morning. By Thursday night, when "sundowner winds" took hold of it, the seemingly harmless blaze was on its was to destroying hundreds of homes.

The students, aged between 18 and 22, apparently believed they had put out the fire before leaving.

"It appears this fire was the result of carelessness, not criminal intent," said Brown, who declined to say which school the students attend.

Though Brown said there was no "malicious intent," the county district attorney will review the case and determine if criminal charges are filed.

The fire burned intensely into the weekend, chewing up 1,900 acres, destroying 210 homes and injuring more than two dozen people, including a Montecito couple who remained in critical condition Tuesday. Lance and Carla Hoffman, both 29, were severely burned while fleeing their home, which was destroyed.

THESE WHERE NOT HOMELESS UNEDUCATED TYPES...
HOW SHOULD THE PUNISHMENT GO FOR THEM???????

RE: Why do people loss interest in CS forums?

I've been in and out of forums going on 3 years,
I believe that to truly find someone special requires us all to sometimes leave the house and keyboard.

I use the forums for intelligent advice, humor and the opportunity to share like opinions and beliefs, and to hear/read opposing views as well...always nice to know that I'm not alone in how I feel. but to not go out and experience a conversation, opinion, praise or rejection face to face can be detrimental to anyones social skills.

Afterall, we all are more than a thumbprint pic or typed thought or an opinion.

Diversity is the bread and butter of the forums, as well as honing social skills... I will continue to come and go, learn and laugh here at the forums.

has anybody else noticed that the president elect has yet to go to "new sources" yet.

Economic crisis hits America 700 billion dollars to dole out... yet our country is still in good enough condition. Can we expect our elected officials to pass up on going home for the holiday break???

If things where as bad as the media makes it out does anyone any United States politician deserve a holiday break???

Hell yes and so do our boys in combat when they can come home for the holidays then maybe then too should our elected officials do the same.

Unitl that time stay in the office and on the legislative floor and work and resolving this countrys crisis.

my working mans senses are tingling... The Federal Reserve is responsibile

Rest assured it'll be more heads of the honest working citizens of the world than any other type of human in this world.

Financial Crisis and Economic depression is not just for Americans anymore.

has anybody else noticed that the president elect has yet to go to "new sources" yet.

Is it just me or has all his "new advisors" been in this game before.

Do not misunderstand my sentiments, its just peculiar that all those he has gone to have been involved in setting past government policies...

What change can come from using the same advisors from the past president...be it Clinton, Daddy Bush or Reagan??

OR should I just sit idly by in this life boat and let the same fools from before row us around in circles?

my working mans senses are tingling... The Federal Reserve is responsibile

thank You so much wave

my working mans senses are tingling... The Federal Reserve is responsibile

it is my belief that politicians are not the owners but are owned and not by the voters or even actual citizens of America.

In time a New Order will be established to govern/monitor all countries investment and finance policies, both international and domestic... I can only imagine who will be given seats on this new world finance committee, as for what it will be called not a clue.

One thing i am sure of is they'll have a 1000 times more power and control over international affairs then the United Nations.

RE: Write something you do very well

rolling on the floor laughing laugh even at myself

RE: what wpuld you do

the time of everyone "liking their boss"or the boss wanting to be liked by everyone while on the job has passed.

What should be noted is that the person that walked off the job was either so financially secure or felt their opinion and feelings are worth more than doing what is told of them by their employer.

I'm independently employed and i hate myself at least once a day while doing my job...but at weeks end I'm smiling after leaving the bankrolling on the floor laughing

RE: Make the above person blush...

read my new T-shirtrolling on the floor laughing

front of shirt says "Lay back it's gonna be awhile"

The back of shirt said

"If you are waiting for me
to remove my head
from under your skirt..."

but the printing was readable from bottom to top on the back of the shirt

my question is would you wear such a shirt ?

or would you be disgusted by it?

RE: how important is the Pic?

If the person has the qualities to earn my respect, admiration...and hopefully their character and personality will win my heart.
too often I've read here and have seen where ones appearance beguiled another only to bring heartache and sadness to one or both.

One thing I've learned is, everyones appearances change, sometimes drastically by as simple of a thing as a bad haircut.

Sure pictures have a purpose, and that is look how I looked when "this" picture was taken. rarely do we all look as good consistently as the picture we choose to post.

Dressed up or down our appearances constantly change until we have the respect and admiration of another, it is only then we will always look truly appealing/good.

So today as was yesterday I continue to hold to the hope, that my sense of vision/eyesight will be out voted by the rest of my senses.

As always it would be a great thing if all my senses would be in agreement... but truthfully how rare of an event is that with us all?

RE: Is it worth it?

choosing to believe in something when others around do not is committing to an idea or path for individual happiness... not everyone is able to see or feel what you feel towards someone.

imagine if all those around you thought she was the greatest thing since sliced bread.... how far would you trust your friends with her then.?

How well do you need to know someone to agree to go on a date?

when we see or learn someone has a common interest or pasttime we also observe many other things about them too... would that common interest or hobby weigh heavier in your decision of yes or no.

How well do you need to know someone to agree to go on a date?

Is one shared common interest, hobby, or pastime enough information?

RE: how will having a black president of america help change the world ?

with the democrats having control over both legislative branches and a democrat in the Whitehouse what changes can the world expect...

Maybe more aid will be given to our own citizens than to the countries overseas.

let those big conglomerates/corporations pony up the payola to other nations instead of the citizenry of America.

RE: McCain Concedes

It is sad that many judge a person by the company he keeps.

RE: Now that the elections Over

shoot I have had my mind changed from a couple who posted opposing opinions...

YES people scare me.

RE: Now that the elections Over

through controversy and differing opinions of what is important to each of us... we learn more about each other.

Topical issues is a necessary component in connecting and learning about one another. how one handles and responds to another's beliefs and lifestyles.

Well more than we do from those "person above you" threads.

Howlong did you wait inline to vote today?

10 minutes

RE: Men over 40 looking for 18 year old girls???????
