the international market and other countires will profit from the lack of change, so it behooves them and their media to keep US in itst current state of disrepair that America has gotten itself into.
their are banks and loan institutions that they can borrow from... why give them my money sop they can double dip take my tax dollars then charge oujtrageous prices and fees for service.
if any corporation receives federal subsidies, tax breaks, tax incentives, grants for explaration, development, and research... should the government have some say in that same companies profit margin?

my thoughts for the democrats is this, the"commander in chief "is the most important position that needs to be filled in the coming elections the rest of the issues are the responsibility of our legislative branch of government.
I've read and heard of outrageous bonuses being awarded to CEO's whose companies have lost money.
I've read where major oil and pharmaceutical corporations are reporting record quarterly and annual profits in America, all the while the sick get sicker and the middle class sells away their hard earned homes and acquisitions.

try becoming more interactive in your daily life with the people around you .... find things, hobbies and things you really enjoy doing. and do them. You would be surprised what can develop with others when you meet someone who enjoys the same things.
being needy rarely works in the long run.
As someone else mentioned don't always go for the home run.sometimes sharing pleasant conversation for ten or fifteen minutes can open doors later down the road.
As callous and calculating though it may sound. Reality, is in my case anyway, sacrifices like that for me have never been as fruitful as my fantasies of these kinds of relationship in the past. I committed myself before like this....

the list of great people throughout the world in history are acknowledge because of this simple fact they did not buckle/compromise under the pressure of the majority when it came to their princples or ideas of improving life or their convictions of enacting a better way.
and as those great individuals who if where alive today would tell you what they did was was anything but easy.
imagine your "friend" discovers this act of her boyfriend, then becomes aware that you knew of this all along?
loyalty and alliances are only as strong as the honesty that holds it together.... yeah it sucks the hurt that could be caused. but even if she forgives him and he was only using the site to do "harmless socializing". Your friendship with her will still be intact.
another thought I'd consider is simple this maybe he was on this site before he ever met your freind and as most thses sites go many just plain forget to delete their profile or even update them until they are reminded to do so.
Always easier to Post/Start a profile then it is to keep it updated.

Allow me to speak on those rare and special moments where because of ones "set" beliefs on what is required to make them happy, another person is persuaded / compelled at times forced to fit into the others criteria for tge sole purpose of being taking seriously or even be acknowledged as one who can possible make them happy.
lying about ones age in hopes to btimg happiness to all involved..... yeah some csan twist the intent, still its a silly lie that will always be discovered...eventually.
still if it forces /compels one to look beyond a set stereotype /r classifcation of what is onluy allowed to be taken seriously...how bad can it truly be ? ;ove from all fairy tals and great authors have again and again shown age rarely has significance where true love is concern....
but ome thing is certain it has been accepted as a worhty excuse not to persue posible the happuest most fulfilling time of ones life.....sftreall its always easier to find a reasomn to not believe then to belive in thins unknown and without assurances.

I was getting real friendly at a bar with a woman and anyway at the time i fo8nd no problem believing her when she said she was 40, but the next night I saw her... she must have discovered a time machine cause she sure looked in her mid to late fifties. but that being siad most women have the tools top look younger and older that comes in a jar or paste or liquid form.
I have a liquid form that makes many women look better / attractive ....only problem is, I have to consume a lot of it. good point is it works in all types of lighting. I've probably said too much Huh?
The only time I correct someone when they guess my age is whaen they add more years to my age then what i actually am top those that find me ten years younger.... i keep my mouth shut... OK sometimes i say "Thank You"
Attraction is so much more than an age issue, as yoiu stated it is a silly matter.
I find it rather petty to be so judgmental about a harmless insignificant matter. after all whats five year difference if sparks and a connection are felt.
The reason I bring this to the forums is I heard last night that McCain and his wife when they first met both lied about their age.... " he said it made no difference and both discovered each others lie when they applied for a marriage license.
