from authority figures, to superiors at work, the morning after or freinds or relatives of someone you have a chance of becoming involved with. do you fake respect with others?? to what goal or purpose?

the thought of the money saved from trimming the current pensioners that are receiving the "special retirement" that is only provided for Politicians is well overdue.
It will only occur if this is allowed to be voted on by the citizens... sadly I do not see those despots in D.C. ever allowing it to happen. just as it is not our choice as to when and whether they get pay increases.
after Bush's appointment to the position 8 years ago I believe the electoral process hasall but been removed from the hands of the citizens. Big business and world corporations do the final deciding on who resides in the "white" house.
I am in strong agreement with those who believe to enact change in our government and in what direction/how it is ran begins in local elections. and those who we send to D.C. to truly represent us. Everything else is a dog and pony show/smoke and mirrors for the rest of the world to observe.
what constitutes "being armed to the teeth" ? 2 rifles, one pistol, or perhaps, a grenade laucher and a 60 cal., maybe just weapons that are fully automatic?
what about a fledgling chemist who in his basement or garage has the where withall to containminate an entire city's water supply.or a buildings ventilation system?
outlawing anything that has been available for years nay decades then that bumper sticker 1 see frequently will becoem fact
we cannot even keep drugs out of our schools.rapes happen in the bathrooms and hallways. and this is only high school and younger.
The buzzer could help warn after the fact... It would be more of a reactive measure
Teachers being issued weapons is a foolish idea ....I've dated teachers and just because they teach does not by any means make them responsible or wiser or more attune to societies problems... or capable of good judgment when a firearm in placed in their hands.
we as society have taken away a very valuable tool to inspire respect in our children from the teachers.... discipline at the younger ages.
It's hard for be to believe intelligentce is respected by children. remember what is said about a childs formative years, it is then many traits are instilled in them such as repecting adults ,superiors, and teachers and neighbors. yeah its a fear based respect... but in time a child becomes an adult and the fear dissolves but the respect remains.
school random shootings sprees are more common than any other building or structure random shooting spree does that not make you wonder... from sporting events to public venue gatherings,children and young adults attend them don't they?yet schools are the number one choice Why?
sometimes the anger and hurt we experienced can cloud our mind, and decision making. Sacrificing, letting go of a friendship is not a decision to be made lightly.

Totally agree the commander in chief of American Armed forces should have some proir experience it is probably the most heavy responsibility that effects the entire world population. more so than being able to read a promptor,and shaking hands around the world.
I must have missed something?. what rule, standard, guidline says that only "christains" are good leaders of couintries? maybe we have become so advanced that we can now even hone this rrule further by determining which "type"of christain would be most qualified.
I can think of many instances where being a "good Christain"could destroy a nations economy, that term turn the other cheek is a scary thing if a countrys leader invokes it.

I remember when I was a little lad and Hallmark Card had the ear of educators and made it so even five year olds where expected to give everyone a Valentines Card in class....Damn lobbyists.

I myself have changed what and how I post.I used to do the jokes and poetry. even attempted to try o show my opinions, and yes intellect,and compassion. In essence we are all multi-facted. Most everyone I think will agree, how we form our sentences and how we express ourselves with the written word is different,then when we verbally express ourselves.

I've have read and heard how being on the internet affords us all this freedom. the ability without real repercussion to be "totally" honest of ones inner most emotions and thoughts. Sounds Great dont it?

Everyones ability /desire tohave and share love isimmense. Asalready stated virtual love is just that. A reploacement, a consolation even tricks our mind plays on us.
I have empathy for those who fail to see Or acknowledge time after time that it is "virtual "and if anyth9ing, only a beginning for real love to grow.
Course I beleive the term "Love" is overly misused many times accidentally but in the virtual world it is more painful because our minds need to hear it thus with only words and voice we/many totally believe it and can be presuaded /covinced it is real which explains the pain and heartache.
Phyiscal presence matters alot and those who choose to deny this will eventualy never see the outside world again because being courted and possessing the freeedom that is given to us all via the internet does not exist in our daily lives.
how many not only imagine the words they read are true but they themselves imagine them to be what they are not... regardless of intent or wishful thinking being the motive.... virtual and internet relationships are NOT for the faint of heart.
to those who have had excellent succuss I commend you all. be it if you are marriage minded or just looking for an intimate virtual relationship,oranything in between that has given you happiness.
