I've wondered does an intelligent person really have to have a full time partner?

I can understand those less intelligent having a need for a partner, but is the need for emotional fulfillment can be attained other ways with considerably less grief. if I understand the word "intelligence" as you ladies have mentioned.

we are all taught at a very young age the ability to display respect. in school in public at family gatherings. it was never required to be sincere just have the appearance and sound of sincerity...

now here most of us are trying to figure if the respect given us is real or a ploy with ulterior motives.

Sorry Zell, I suffer from the same condition. Is it real or is it not, this respect they giving me.?

Hell I know i deserve respect and want respect... and they are offering it up.

I've always been curious, how does a woman deciphers if a man in deed does has those attributes you mentioned?

I'll be the first to acknowledge most my jobs I had to feign respect for another for advances and pay increases. which in some circles is a sign of intelligence knowing when to "turn it on" so to speak.

as to having soul, well that I've always consider a matter of investing time with someone.

I've often wondered when women make generalized statements like this if they are aware that that "pretty dumb" woman that is getting the attention is getting the attention from a "pretty dumb" male ?

Question did you know either of these parties I mean was the man intelligent, possible a friend or was the woman in fact, really a "pretty dumb"thing?

so you find yourself being attracted to a man that is attracted to "pretty dumb" women. sounds like a complicated situation.

It got me to thinking what it could possible mean.

the long and winding road is the course that only someone who enjoys each day to the fullest can appreciate.

Sure the quickest way between two points is a straight line but those who take the winding road will have memories/rewards and still some youthful outlooks when the road ends.

It is my sincerest hope and prayer that my next love will not be "fragile" in any term of the definition. It is my goal to find the materials within another's heart together with mine will not be breeched /flawed by doubts acquired form our past experiences. In fact it is these past experiences that will strengthen the foundation of our relationship. yes even those so painful they cannot be revealed in the beginning of the building of our relationship will give strength and pliancy to our relationship. I love many in my family and am quite honest yet at my age to say they know or will ever all about me is foolish.

No I will not accept a fragile love not in the beginning nor the beginnng stages of my next (hopefully soon) relationship

I do not believe in love at first sight and have now learned of another I do not believe in Fragile Love.

our past pains, joys, experiences (good nad bad) however they be are necessary for our future to be better. our past each of us has been a place to prepare us for our tomorrows.

my biggest flaw I probably have not even considered or thought as such.
It will be the loving of another and being loved by another that will cause it to reveal itself at which time Love will address resolve and dismiss it...

this time of year family crisis and other such issues unfortunately will always have a higher priority over the initial meeting. Consider your thoughts if he blew off a family crisis of his to meet you, would you still be as receptive to his attentions?

It could even be a personal crisis (lets hope not) but wheather and family this time of year can always interrupt a otherwise excellent plan.

only met 3 from online and it was simply not to be. the others a mistyped phrase or giving a honest response to what was asked. have been my greatest burden to overcome. it is my thinking that overreacting to the written word is the crux of most failed online relations.

use to have that belief...saved and strived and withstood long hours for my familys security. That did not work out quite the way I planned.

Now I care for injured, neglected people and have found such a sense of self worth and accomplishment that I'm thirsty for more knowledge to be better equipped.

the money/pay has become a less than primary priority these days. Its probably because if i need more on hand cash the work is always available and as others so aptly said if you find true enjoyment in your work it no longer drains you it replenishes you in ways all the dollars could not.

quite true Dano the formula for attaining love is different for us all finding the right 2 major ingredients that can bond and grow and last ..sadly attaining love will never be a science.
