Playoff tickets go on sale this weekend. The cheapest ticket is $90 and most expensive $441, then you add on the service charges etc. And they get more expensive each round.

Wow I just checked out Detroits......$30-$150!!! It's funny because alot of us think we might as well do a jaunt down to the US as it will be cheaper and you get to travel. Recently a bunch of people (we call them Canuck Nation) went down on the last road trip to LA, Anaheim, San Jose, Phoenix, and then Edmonton. I would love to do that! In some places I swear there were more Canuck fans than home fans!

Hey Irish. That's terrible. I didn't know that. Guess I must have missed the highlights. Are they still dealing with lots of injuries? They had quite a few for a while.

We're just getting a couple defensemen back but have also lost 3. Not the greatest time for that!

Well I think they didn't want to get into it and lose a game because of dumb penalties as they are still fighting for playoff position.

I would like to see Boston and Montreal play against each other and Detroit and Chicago.

Apparently Wayne Gretzky said he thought Detroit would win the Cup. Vancouver was his 2nd choice. I don't know about him sometimes! Naw, just joking. He's god. I will just kill myself if it happens.

And the Olympics rocked. A once in a lifetime experience and I enjoyed it! I love sports and the patriotism and it brings the world together. It shows kids it's good to be active and inspires them to get into sports and some even make it their goal to reach the Olympics. Some people don't care about that stuff but I do.

As for changing the national anthem....NO WAY!!!!!!!!! People have too much time on their hands. There are more important concerns than that. Seems people always want to change things from our past.

I love it at the NHL hockey games across Canada where the whole stadium takes over and sings with pride. It can get pretty loud especially during the playoffs. My heart swells with pride when I hear it.

I agree Coyotes aren't doing too bad. I would be happy though if they went back to Winnipeg. That was so sad for the fans and the players to leave back then.

Just heard last night our #1 face off guy Manny Malhotra is out for the season because he got hit in the eye. They don't know if he'll play hockey again. Have to see how the next few months go. We're going to miss him big time in the playoffs.

Canucks and Wings today.......hope we kick their butt!

Well the NHL is cracking down on it. But I hope they don't go to far as hitting belongs in the game.

The other night one of our guys got 5 min for boarding and a game and it was barely a hit. If anything he should have gotten 2 min. It was more the other player made a last minute decision on which direction to skate into the boards and didn't prepare or protect himself for a hit. It wasn't even that hard. There was no score when that happened with 8 min. left. Next thing you know they score 2 goals on the PP and the game is lost....all on a bad call. They didn't even bother to call a tripping call after that on them. I think refs don't know what to call now and are over reacting or being too cautious.

Guess what our #1 face off guy Manny Malhotra got a puck in the eye and they don't know if he will see again let alone play. We had a guy Mattias Ohlund who went through the same thing and they didn't think he was going to play but he did. They ended up putting some kind of tube in his eye. But he only has 85% peripheral vision. I love that guy as he's so talented by he's on Tampa now. We had him for years. I hope Manny comes back we need him!

Matt Cooke is such a dog! He was a trouble maker with a mouth on him when we had him but he didn't lay out the cheap hits like he does now.

Sometimes you can watch games on Yahoo and HNIC will put their games online and they have a pre and post show.

I just checked my schedule and we have 13 that aren't televised. I guess that's not bad but is still annoying. But atleast I can find them online now.

That's terrible! You can watch games online though. I can maybe give you some links later. About 20 Canucks games aren't televised (you use to be able to see them all at one time but of course it's a money thing now). So I watch some of them online and they show other teams as well. I will get back to you.

In Canada we have Hockey Night In Canada which is on every Saturday night and occasionally other nights for special occasions. You probably have heard of that right? Everyone watches it (well mostly). I imagine some near the border in the US must get it or maybe they can get it on satellite? It's usually a double header, sometimes triple header. Hockey all day!

I don't think they'll be any charges against Chara. The Bertuzzi hit was worse. I still think that was taken too far as well as he's facing prosecution. I'm sure Bert meant to hurt him but not to that degree. And some of the damage could have been from the dog pile that happens afterwards. I miss Bert! :( Now Mcsorley on Brashear? That was obvious intent.

Feel bad for Pacioretty though. But even he doesn't want Chara prosecuted as he said although the incident was ugly it's just apart of the game.

I heard a quick blurb on the news that Crosby's parents want him to retire. I guess they are fearful of the concussions. But it won't happen. He's sure been out a long time.

What did you think of Chara's hit on Pacioretty? Montreal is crying foul, even their sponsors like Air Canada and Via Rail as they are based in Montreal. What a joke and to get the police involved. I don't think he should have got a suspension as it wasn't intentional. Chara isn't a dirty player. I think if the turnbuckle wasn't there and it was a regular hit along the boards nothing would have happened. Most people are crying foul but in this situation it's over blown. I think they should do something about the turnbuckle issue in all the buildings. It's been going on for years. It's no different than them hitting their faces on the ledge of the boards. Can't help it sometimes. Though Lemieux on Draper was dirty.

I'm praying we'll win the Cup! We went to the finals in 82 and 94 and came up short. In 94 we lost in game 7. Messier and his 'guaranteed win'. Both times we were mediocre teams. But this year......wow! EB Sports, The Hockey News and other places predicted the Canucks at the beginning of the season. EB predicted Chicago and they were right. Sorry, don't mean to toot the Canucks so much but I'm so excited! '94 was such a roller coaster of fun, I can't imagine what it will be like this year.

But playoffs is a different season, anything can happen. It's so hard to say. What about Boston or Phili?
