How about we just keep the government out of our business. We take responsibility for our own successes and failures without government hand outs or bail outs. You either sink or swim on your own skills and merits.
True. No one is willing to suffer a little pain and discomfort now in order to have something for the future. The "if if feels good, do it" generation is beginning to pay the consequences for its short sightedness.
The only one responsible for my situation is me. The government doesn't solve problems, it creates them.
By your logic, I should have been destitute by now because of the price of fuel. I chose to ignore the media screaming like a bunch of idiots that the sky was falling. In spite of the price of fuel, I am having a good year.
Some people will sit around and moan and point fingers at others for their situation. Other people will just quietly get about the business of fixing their situation. I prefer to be in the latter group.
Actually when I was 18, we wouldn't have had much in common. I was pretty much a liberal back then. It was all about me and whatever made me "feel" good.
