Since when does math have anything to do with how a politician thinks. Take Social Security for example. The first person to collect social security paid into the system for one week. That person collected benefits for 20 years.
It's like trying to watch a soap opera, except you have to keep switching channels to see what happens next. Just like any soap opera though, it never seems to progress.
