No - I do not believe in love at first sight - but lust - oh yeah. Fate though is another thing??? 10 or more years ago, I was introduced to a guy that I neither lusted nor loved in the instant but at the moment I met him, I knew I would be involved with him. We both went about our lives and I never told anyone and eventually we had a short but ill fated affair.
guess your work schedule would consist of "anything with big teeth or bad temper" if you had no sense of touch - oh and the cold night call outs as well. Although it might already look like that.
I thought that was my answer but mine would be touch - I could cope without seeing my children or family again but not the inability to not feel myself hug them or just feeling contact with someone. But I'm not a touchy feely person per se - but I'd be tactile in that rather than look at a piece of pottery I'd want to pick it up and touch the glaze and feel it
that must be tough - I had an aunt who was registered blind and from a v young age had to guide her around & we had a deaf/blind neighbour and a blind guy that used to translate books to braille that we knew as kids - they were all inspiring people. (We learned to sign into the palm of the deaf/blind guy & even now I can just about follow letter signing & I can see it!)
Sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch - which one of these would you most hate to loose?
We did this as group and the answer you give instinctively has a lot of bearing on your personality, your interests and the type of work/job you have had/would like.
Quite like the idea of round ireland with a fridge - read about that guy a couple years back. Just demolished Paula Spencer - A novel by Roddy Doyle & keep dipping in and out of Chris Evans Memoir of a Fruitcake.
Anyone got a book that you think everybody should read? Niall Williams Four Letters of Love stands out for me - I think it's just beautiful.
I think it's a great idea - and there are so many places were it would be a positive in getting you to connect with other people in your locality. Off to look at the website - thanks for sharing
I know a guy started a "frugal lunch" club in his town - basically people take it in turns cooking big pots of stew, soup, bread and scones using local produce (which is donated or given at a discount). They serve in the local hall at big tables and everyone is welcome - charge £2. It is used by everyone - brings together some diverse people - teenage mums, old folk and ladies who lunch, unemployed etc.
We are all small people - it's just how we see ourselves ... or some such... potential, perception and malevolence. Either - thought it was predictable and contrite
So I am looking to buy a cheap run around and I don't want anything above 1.5 (and auto) - looking on DoneDeal and Adverts Seems my choices are really old micras - too small Even older Toyota starlets Mitsubishi - seem white and boy racerish Fiat Punto - told the head WILL go High mileage Corollas Opel Corsa Diahatsu Terios
Or - what would you buy - perhaps more pertinent what would you avoid? Looking at a max of 1700.
Hey Vinny - not to be the bearer of bad news but for weight loss you're far better off eating the fruit whole. A juicer just condenses the natural sugars that are high in most fruits - and your body has to do little do digest them. So juicing really only works for weight loss if you give up food as well! Porridge is a great start to the day. Aim for one third to half of every meal to be veg or salad (not spuds!), lean protein and easy on the carbs. Or try to do carb heavy before 3pm.
My nan reckoned breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and supper like a pauper. I've been guilty of king size all the way lately and piled on the 2 stone the treadmill got off last year. Oh and alcohol is a big weight loss preventer... damn .... So starting again today.
yes - go there if looking for a big or a home item but adverts pitched as being an alternative to E-Bay for Irish buyers on a day to day basis . Starting own business and rent in a small town seems crazy money but it's hard to get exposure without a shop front ...
I feel you're pain - I must have been the only person to ever get lost in Killybegs and ended up down the docks with naught but fish guts and seagulls for directions. There's only only 2 roads you say (and one is a dead end as the waves lap the shore) - oh yes - I take the one less travelled.
thanks guys - I just wanted to know how well known it was before I joined. But if you have your own items to sell (e.g furniture, a car, clothes etc) it is free to put an advert in.
I am a life long Toffee girl, who moved to Wales and had to watch Wrexham - then when I moved to Scotland had Inverness Cally as my local team. Cold, Wet. Miserable. Oh yeah - that's football.
