I'd have thought it would have been the other way around - one log in - one profile? Or are they logging in on multiple tabs to chat to themselves and do multiple log ins?
Tis gone from dripping to a constant torrent, so it seems. Your towel idea is pretty good - the relative silence is bliss - as long as I don't end up flooding the kitchen .... Think I'll switch water off in morning and remove taps then probably shamefaced call plumber tomorrow afternoon when have to replace taps and washers .... now where are the vice grips ....
and before you all send me links to free samples of Tena ladies - I mean my mixer tap sounds like bloody Chinese water torture. And it's getting worse. Do mixer taps work like those old 80's school taps (last time I changed a tap washer was circa 1989) - is it just a washer in there needs replacing? Or do I do my bit for the local economy and ring a plumber (except they're probably all in Oz).
We all have the gene that could potentially develop diabetes. It's more to do with lifestyle choices that allow optimum gene expression. Besides too much lucozade and no jeans will fit.
Wow - had no idea it was that much. It's crazy that it's marketed to kids at all. I see Smithkline are looking at selling Lucozade and Ribena for 1 billion dollars - there's money to be made from sugar!
As far as I can remember "normal" glucose levels are something like 2tsp of sugar in an average 75kg man with however many pints of blood it's normal to have. Lucozade for the most part just leads to huge insulin surges and unnecessary calorific intake resulting in weight gain. Harvard studies have proved there is no scientific backing to support the claims that energy drinks improve or boost energy levels.
It's just back dated to when it should have been done - I left it until the last minute to book mine and it's on Friday but it will only be valid until May next year as that's when it expired. If you skip a complete year maybe could have it declared as being off the road for the previous 12 months but not sure.
Great for strengthening and you'll soon see results - but it's bloody tough. I could hardly get a couple of reps done in a minute and some of the stuff couldn't even do one, I've only tried it a couple of times.
That training bug has bit you hard. I like swimming but it's more for the time to myself than the exercise - put on my mp3 player & do lengths for an hour. Then jacuzzi and a relax on the hot stone. Bliss. For pushing myself then it's got to be kettlebells - try and fit in 3 classes a week & definitely stronger and getting a shape. Just bought some boxing gloves and picking up a free standing boxing bag this week. I like cycling but only outside - hate the gym bikes, it seems so pointless but don't mind rowing. Odd.
I'm already following primal blueprint with about 80% compliance (have a day off every week & the odd "slip" but don't go mad on it) - so no grains, legumes, potatoes, sugar or dairy is my normal diet. Wondering if Epsom salts (bathing not drinking!) and doing an hour workout each eve would do it ...
My weight is the lowest it's been in years but struggling now. Have a posh frock do in 10 days time and my dress zip wont do up the last inch. Any last resort suggestions to get me in the damn thing in 10 days?
It's not a miracle cure - you have to have a calorie deficit which is achieved by eating a bar that contains wood chips (it's listed as cellulose something in the ingredients) and a soup that tastes like vomit (I'd have eaten most things but it's really vile). A friend did it last year - lost 11lb in 4 weeks but I think most diets if stuck to would yield similar results. Best thing is to eat clean - cut out all processed food for 30 days. (Dropped a lot of weight this way) Have a look at revolutionfitness.ie for some free and easy ideas.
See, I keep coming across this genetics thing - but what guys like this seem to do is optimal genetic expression & that these genes can be manipulated with diet and exercise. So - given the so many times per cell theory, then the heavy lifting/hard hill walk routines will have you live longer than the chronic cardio ones ?
I think the first thing I think of reading this is my children. As my dependants and legacy and I also think of my great grandfather who wrote his autobiography and left all of his family that read it a greater sense of not only who he was but also who we were.
Or
A girl at 15, looses a parent when that parent leaves the home and then the other through bereavement. Moved to another country experiences bullying - to the point she will not go swimming - which was a great love, and does not swim again for 20 years. So in this case the life of the bully far extended beyond the narrow confines of her limitations.

Hand a euro to someone looking for change for a supermarket trolley & maybe say it was done for me and now I'm passing it on. They will recall and recount it to others.

I am employer of 17 people & how I control my life and business controls their tomorrow.
I think it's about the contribution you make to the world, not necessarily in monetary or material terms but the impact you have on everyone & the experience you choose to have in interacting with the world.
Thanks GG and AB. I assume that the exercise regime he has stimulates much more growth hormone than the average OAP. Conversely though - if he suffered a tumour would it would spread more prolifically than the average OAP with lowered cell renewal? (Is there always a down side? Or is his risk of cancer reduced due to his lifestyle? Hmmm.)
That's what I'd have thought but at 93 he's proof that you can hold back the inevitable. He's in better shape than many 40 year olds something he said did make me wonder - given his health levels and vitality do the 60 year old women see him as a dirty old man, in the way that young girls complain when they get interest from men 25 plus years older than them.
I think in the way you're talking about the jealousy can serve a purpose - it's a reminder that your life isn't quite living up to the "life plan" you've mapped out at some time. So it can help motivate you seek out the things that are missing or reassess what that life plan is - we sometimes find ourselves living to a set of standards that are not realisitic or simply outdated. Inherent jealousy usually shows in insecurity and general begrudgery towards most people and I certainly don't think you're like that (from your posts here). Jealousy in little pangs is quite natural.
Are the ads on here "personalised"? Just noticed an ad for a food supplement from a website I visit & wondered how many other people are being offered primal fuel tonight.
