So would you go out on your own at New Year?

Visiting my mum and she has no interest in going out on NY eve but will babysit - neither of my siblings are around. So I can go out in the local town on my own, or the local village pub or stay home ....
Now I don't know anyone and there's a lot of Welsh speakers locally, so even joining in a conversation can be difficult. So do I just take the chance and go out by myself and hope I get talking to some people or stay home?
Would u go out or stay in?

Well not here but out of Ireland - got ferry tickets for the morning and so au revoir Ireland and hello Wales for a week or more .... I'll get so spend my birthday with mummy - so there'll be a cake and candles

plus a family New Year gathering

I luurvve Neil Diamond too (but not as much as my James D Bradfield) - although not sure I'd date him ... it's more a reflection on my musical taste than taste in men ... I also like John Denver .... and early Iron Maiden .... and The Levellers... Green Day ....
