It's in the Scottish Highlands - past Dalwhinnie on the way to Inverness. Not to far from Aviemore, where they do a lot of skiing... helping ? No kangaroos ...
My fave are the proper butcher's puddings - there was a butcher in Kingussie made out of this world puddings and haggis. No cutting and frying - boil it whole in the skin and serve with lashings of mustard.
Oh I remember that - it was my first year in Ireland ... I thought they were surrender flags - knew nothing about GAA at the time ... actually still know pitifully little ....
there was an article I read about how eating steamed potatoes and exercise could help combat depression - to the point of eliminating the need for Prozac in some people. so all we need is a bag of Kerr Pinks and it should be happy days ...
My brother wants to do homemade Xmas gifts between us siblings - I need to get thinking ... hoping to send the girls to their nan on Xmas Day afternoon and have mince pies and brandy on my own... no cooking, no washing up - bliss....
OK have to admit - don't even know where Stockport is - Edgeley Park, is that near the airport? I'm not from or even been around that neck of the woods.... I'm a woolyback ...
Hiya darling.. To be honest i am a member of the local swimming club. I fundamentally fail because i have no will or drive and i need something to motivate me, i just cannot find motivation at all... Which means yes im a lazy bastid..[/quote
following advice from here I got a treadmill - I wouldn't run for a bus and when I started could not manage 2 mins jogging. Doing 2 lots of 20/30 minutes a day/4 times a week and can keep it up at a jog now. Been about 6 weeks. I was walking for perhaps a month before that. Adding a bit extra each week to keep me improving. I have slipped this last week but back to it now, as I can see that I'm getting fitter and loosing weight - that's enough motivation to keep me going. Good luck with it - I really thing running/jogging is the way to go for the quickest weight loss and you'll see huge improvements in no time.
Ah we're all being far too romantic to make considerations about the weather ... but I guess you'd want to keep the number for Mountian rescue handy alright ...
you can pick it up for less than a euro on E-bay - I got a signed hardback first edition for £18 as a gift (just in case he's reading this and thinks I'm being a cheapo giftgiver!)
