Yep I have a friend that happened too. They met when she was about 7mths! pregnant.. fell madly in love.. went throo the rest of it together.. and they now have two more children and have been together 8yrs.
Last year I was covering a night shift in a local nursing home.. It was a reeeeally stormy night.. there was me.. another carer and a nurse. It was raining sooo hard that water had started to leak into the lounge room
Splatting on the carpet.. so I put some bowls for it to splash into. At about 4am.. the other two were tired, and I said *Go and have a snoooze* .. I will do the rounds and make sure alls well*.
Some of the patients cry out in the night.. yell or scream.. (and one moos like a cow.. its bloody SCARY at 4am!) haha.. One of them get out of bed and wanders about throo the corridors in a long white nightie saying ' Where's my fish?' .... and 'How many sausages?'....
Sooo.. I start walking about on the ground floor doing the rounds.. checking on the patients in each room.. The wind was howwwwwling outside.. and I could hear thunder and lightening. (its a bigggg creepy converted old house)
THREE times the electric went off.. and as a fire precaution all the safety doors in the building slam shut .. so Every now and again I was in complete darkness ...
I checked everyone on the 2nd floor.. then went up to the *Attic rooms*.. The stairs were creeeeaking under my feet .. the rain was bashing on the big window at the top of the stairs.. doors slamming.. screaming and yelling here and there.. and my heart thumping...and thinking *Claire you have read wayyyyy too many Stephen King books!* haha
As I got to the top of the stairs I see the lady in her long white nightie float past the end of the corridor.. muttering on about fish..
I caught her up.. and started to take her back to her room to bed..
I tucked her back in.. then the electric went off again.. *SLAM!* *SLAM!* *SLAM!* .. Screaming.. yelling.. howling wind.. slashing rain.. thunder.. AND *MOOING!*....
Then as I shone my little torch towards the lady (muttering on about sausages)..
She said to me.. *I see things... I see things other people don't see* shock:
RE: Hanging In The Girlz Room....
Yep.. but it's the same for men too.. plenty of them get hurt by crappy women..and are as afraid of being hurt again as some women.
We can't tar them all with the same brush..
nice kind men.. nice kind women. crappy men.. crappy women.
