I just had Xmas dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend as they'll be away for Xmas.
I made my famous vegetarian Shepard's Pie as per my daughter's request. Wine and cheese as well. Neither of them drink so I had all the Shiraz to myself.
I must say, I always enjoy their company and conversation so much. Tonight we covered everything from economics to the Amish religion.
That's it for my Xmas. I'm now free to veg-out as I'm used to doing.
Starting tomorrow, I will try to regain a life. (Well maybe)
I tried using the wine makers, not sure if you have this in the US. To make it legal, you add the yeast and they do the rest. It could never compare to what I'm used to.
Sorry my dear. I did have this encounter and it was a mood killer for me as well. You will recover and I likely should not have shared this on this site.
As Paul Simon said in one of his songs; "If you took all the girls that I knew in high school and put them all together for one night, they couldn't match my sweet little imagination".
New or old format ?
I know. The other night I had to go out with a broom and jump up and down to clear the snow from my dish.
