Questions

When will I die?
Are we really going to have huge job losses starting September 27?
Why does God let bad people get away with all their crap?
Did the dinosaurs die off, or just turn into chickens and bald eagles?
Was life better when we just had 200 million people on the planet?
How do aliens exist in space that is so vast it boggles the mind?
When are we going to get hard evidence of Bigfoot?
Are the poor people of India really happier than the rich in the USA?
When are we going to have a really good president again like Kennedy?
When are we going to visit Mars and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn?
When will we have electric cars that are affordable?

Memorial Day

When you died
Where did you go?
That should be in the obituaries
How did you die and where did you go?
I wish the dead could really talk to us on Memorial Day
Tell us what heaven is like
Or hell
Or some place else
I think of Chis Farley, Prince, Michael Jackson
My grandma and grandpa
Deon Clay, my cousin who died in an automobile accident in the 80's
There have been around 100 billion people who have lived and died
Do they all get to meet each other?
I go to the grave sites and look at my grandparents, my uncles
My godfather, by sisters who died at birth
What happens to newborns?
Do they grow up in heaven until they reach the age of 21?
Do all people who are old when they die get to look 21 again?
So many more questions I would ask the dead
The ones who are living on the other side of life

Where do we go? That question is probably the one that scares people the most.

Libertarian Objections

I was watching the Libertarian debates last weekend
I objected to a few things that were said
One was the minimum wage
They said that it should be zero
That you get paid what your skills are
If you aren't being paid what you are worth
Then all you need to do is walk across the street
But I see countless skilled workers being ripped off every day
They cross the street and it's the same story all over again
The minimum wage should be raised to 15 bucks an hour
The next thing was immigration
The libertarian candidates said let them all in
No borders
We need all the skilled labor we can get
I disagree
We don't need a wall
We just need the citzens of our country to be employed first
If there are still jobs left over
Then fine, let them in to fill those jobs
But the jobs should be available to Americans first
Not whoever gets there first, or who is the cheapest
I still like a lot of their ideas
I did vote for Gary Johnson back in 2012
I probably will vote for him again
Unless Bernie Sanders majically get the Democratic nomination

About this poem:
I spent last Sunday watching the libertarian debates for about seven hours. The debates were actually on Saturday, but I taped them. The candidate selection and vice president were chosen Sunday. Gary Johnson and his vice president Bill Weld won.

Job Rap

Toasting a bun
Making a pickle run
Could you please
Get me more cheese
They need this today so
Get me more mayo
I got to be careful with the blade so
I'm slicing a tomato
Don't cook that patty too long underneath
Or the old lady will be saying where's the beef?
I'm not getting rich
Cause I'm making a sandwich
Fast food fast food
I'm in the mood
For more and more food
Fast food fast food
Forget about that diet so
I'll make it a combo
Fries Fries
Gotta get more ketchup
Don't forget the soda
I'm eating in my Toyota

About this poem:
I used to work at Hardee's from 1988- 1993. I was so disgusted with the job and the low pay I didn't even give a two week notice. I just walked in and placed my uniforms on the counter and left. The average fast food worker will stay on for about four months. I stayed four years and four months.

CincoDeCryo

Here I am in America
I stole the job from ya
I live the dream while yours dies
Why do I still want to cry?
Maybe it's because of NAFTA and thing like that
Make me feel like a rat
Bernie Sanders has it right
We all need to stand up and fight
With 15 dollars an hour
We will have the power
Till then I will sit here and cryo
Even though it's Cinco De Mayo

Cow Preacher

I say to you my fellow bovine
My hoofed friends
We must be thankful for the grass in the valley
We must be thankful for the calves born each spring
Ours is a simple life
A life of mooing
A life of eating grass for hours on end
And that's about it

Prince

Prince
I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain
Thank you for your music
Thank you for your spirit
Thank you for your respect
I bought your Purple Rain album back in 1984
When Doves Cry was my favorite song at the time
I am wearing a purple shirt to celebrate your life
I will be listening to your music every day
I am glad you made Minneapolis your home
I love many of your lyrics and Mountains says it best
It's only mountains and the sea
Love will conquer if you just believe

Quotes

You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs
And you can't play football without breaking a few heads

To err is human
To forgive, nah!

The more you study history
The more you learn that man has learned nothing from history

Money can't buy happiness
But it sure can rent it!

The only people who win in war
Are politicians and businessmen

Knowing the hour you are to die is not important
It's knowing that you will be prepared no matter when it comes

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day
Teach a man how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime
Teach a man how to steal a fish through taxation
And he'll eat for a while
Till the stealers outnumber the fishermen

Capital Punishment

This is still the law in my country
Isn't it time to end capital punishment?
How many innocent people have been killed?
Compared to the guilty, it has to be a lot more
You have crucifixion
Where you nail someone to a cross and wait for them to die
Then you have burning
Which pretty much mean lighting someone on fire
You have electrocution
A more modern form using electricity
The "humane" lethal injection
Where someone is strapped to a table and given needles of poison
Feeding people to lions in Roman times
Sawing someone in half starting at the groin upward to the head
Crushing using stones
Stepping on and crushed by elephant
Cement shoes which was feet being put into cement and thrown in water
Guillotine was a sharp blade that cut off the condemned person's head
Walking the plank where the person would drown or get eaten by sharks
Drawn and quartered where the man was ripped apart by rope attached to
each leg and arm and horses running in four opposite directions
Burying alive in a coffin
Bamboo, where the person is tied over bamboo shoots that grow a foot A day and impale them
So what is really being done here
I say it is for entertainment mostly
And some for getting revenge or so-called justice
Do we want to live in a peaceful world?
If we do, then we must end capital punishment

Campaign Speech

When I am elected president there will be no more homelessness
There will be no wage under 15 dollars an hour anywhere in the world
There will be no illegals taking jobs from Americans
Health care will be free and available to all people
We will go to Mars
We will give our children hope
So they don't have to take dope
Our educational system will be the best in the world
There will be no more illegal groping at airports
We will not bomb any more countries for profit
All drugs will be made legal
Our prison system will then be drastically reduced
Our national debt will be paid down
So the 400 billion in interest paid yearly can be used for new roads
Electric cars will be made cheap enough for everyone to own one
We will protect our environment and have clean water
In Flint and everywhere else
We will reward work by cutting taxes and no taxes on overtime
We will foster and sense of community and love
For all people everywhere
So that we can truly say not god bless the usa
But god bless everyone on this great planet we call earth!

I have been following Trump, Bernie, and Hillary. The latest Trump ad has Hillary barking like a dog. She actually did this at a campaign rally. It would be fun to be president, if you could actually bring about the positive changes I wish for everyone.

No Walls

Why is there no talk of a wall on the Canadian border?
You would think this would be in order
If it's good enough for Mexico
A wall keeping out the Canadians would be the way to go
I'm sure they're sick of their free health care
And all the elbow room so they can let out their hair
The cool temps gotta be a drag
And all those mosquitos that like to nag
Having to learn French and English would really suck
What is that kid doing on the five dollar bill, playing with a puck?
Give a polar bear, how about a loon
I'll stick with my Jefferson and Washington you goon
So why don't they need a wall up there
Maybe it's because they think the United States isn't fair
And they much rather just stay up there
