Just because I am an Australian
I dont say "G'day mate "
but I am extremely friendly
and this is how Aussie's rate.
I don't have a beer or a Barbie
however a Holley I have as a Carbie.
Nor do I own a pet kangaroo
but I have definately been known
to tell a joke or two

Just because I am Aussie girl
I don't wear boots or a cowboy hat
work in the city and I live in a flat.
I don't live in the outback
my place is not a shack
no Koala's hiding in my trees
though maybe a possum or two
definately no Emu
occasionally dead on the side of the road
I do see a kangaroo. :(

Just because I am Australian
Im only first generation
Which causes a large amount of sensation
and Im not sure I can even be called an Aussie brat
with sweedish/Mauri heritage what breed is that?
A blonde green eyed sweedish/Kiwi
as crazy as that be.

Just because we are Aussies
we laugh and joke and muck about
and a round at the bar we will always shout
our blokes are positive happy fellas
who want a sheila on there arm
We would rather you not call us that or they may be harm!
Aussie girls are not all ockers
same as the British are not all punk rockers.
though I dont mind the soccer
Sport is an australian way of life
doesnt matter if we watch or play
we will cheer it on throughout the day.

Just because I am Aussie
not all aussie girls act like boys
even if some of us drive the hotted up toys
I am a lady and I wear a dress
I am quite happy to get my hands dirty I do confess.
I am tough and strong
but I wear my nails long
I say she'll be right
and I get up each day and fight.

Just because I am Aussie
I am there for my Mates and strangers too
I helped out in the fires & floods
just because it is what neighbours do
We give all to those who are without
and we help the farmers through the droughts
As a nation we feel the pain
when the land goes so long with out the rains.
Our country cries when there is loss and devastation
but we band together as a nation
Just because we are Australian.

we respect the land in which we live
We say "Sorry"
and the best attitude we have is to forgive.
"no worries mate" or "she'll be right"


Just because we are Aussie
you are all welcome here

With eyes closed and breath slowly reduced
Nothings more pleasurable then being seduded
One solitary kiss can hold the key
To life's sweet torturous mystery
lashes lighlty rest upon the face
head is tilted for loves delicious embrace
Lost in a moment so preciaous so rare
All lifes worries vanish without a care
Time is fleeting can never be kept
Judgement is placed by the tears we've wept
Rejoice in the softness of anothers lips
Treasure the secret in every first kiss
Never kiss lightly quickly in vain or in haste
A kisses sweet nectar is too valuable to waste
Never is there too many stolen moments
when a kiss is concerned
they are to be collected and saved
along with the lessons we learn
In days far gone or far to come
we shall ponder over the things weve done
the trick is too never leave question or doubt
for the very kiss is something
we can not live with out.

If I could give you one moment in time
Then the moment I would give to you
Is the moment when your eyes meet with mine
The moment that our bodies entwine
The moment when our lips first meet
And all the tender kisses so sweet
You have come to mean a lot to me
And I will forever hold you dear to me

quiet now - HUSH, silence the flight
hold it all in close your mind
soften the destruction in your eyes
pray that no one can see the lies
stifle the yearning inside of me
stop wishing that they will finally see
HUSH - then the drowning begins
you feel the waves of the relentless sea
just let the water keep crashing over me
coldness comes settling in like a frozen mist
dence and heavy - petend its ok - decieve yourself
today say you are fine let them hear it
HUSH - its dark now, you will survive you always do
lock the pain away like a jewel in a box
only to be lost & forgot
why do you torture yourself so
the saddest eyes they will ever know
you draw them in but they can't stay
its not their fault that they are this way
your obsessed and you push them to their depth
and whats there is more real then they will ever know
So HUSH now let them go.......

You say you dont feel
But I know its a lie
Our lives are ruled by feelings
and we often cry
I know there is only so much
hurt we can take
only so much pain
before our hearts break

but when we open our eyes
from another sleepless night
we get up and go on
and we continue to fight

And with every new day
acceptance brings
Tolerance and strength
for the every day things.

I want to be the One!
who makes you smile
the One who makes you laugh
who makes your heart sing

Please don't go ahead and make me
your One & only everything!

I want to be the One!
that holds you near
to wipe away the pain & the tears
The One who makes you want to take a chance

Please don't let yourself totally depend on me
don't make that my Responsibility!

the One who is your every aching desire

Please you should still be able to breathe

Since I go first as I often do.
I am to talk about Jannelle and tell you a thing or 2
You will see as I do go on
that my list of praises are very long

Jannelle you and I well its been 14 years since we met
We've got millions of stories and we are not through yet
we attended school together and I practically lived at your house
Your Folks always knew where we were
because we couldn't keep quiet as a mouse.

Jannelle you laugh when I tell you that you are special
because you can't believe its true
but you always make people smile
even when you are sad and blue
For years you have sat and listened
and offer me your advice
you never minded if I didn't take it
or asked your more than twice
I haven't always been there for you
when you needed me most
but when I talk of our friendship
I always seem to boast

I don't need to tell all of you how special Jannelle really is
But Jannelle you have so many people
who will stand beside you no matter what it is
I know you like to keep your troubles all to yourself
but we all promise to be here
and we promise to try to help.

I don't know what made me so lucky
to have found someone as wonderful and talented as you
because you have always been beside me
always seen me through
Well my sweet Angel I wish you all the best
and thank you Troy for loving her
because to me she is the BEST.

I believe in Angels
but they don't come from up above
Angels are your best friends
the best friends that you love.

The streets are all dark
an angel falls to the ground
nobodys there
she doesnt make any sound
no one will hear her tears falling down
she is just an angel that has fallen to the ground

Who rescues the angels that walk on this earth
who even recognises their worth

who repays the kindness that she does
selfish is the only payment she gets
from anyone
Because we walk away when the healing is done.

when the angel comes near you see her shining light
so why can you not hear her desperate plight
your eyes stay closed to the sadness of her eyes
but still she loves you without ever questioning why.

When she speaks we hear glorious sound
the most beautiful mind that we ever found
we follow her with amazement and awe
arent all these things what she is here for
but no one is watching her wings drag on the floor.

You dont care why she has been sent to this place
empty and lifeless in desolate waste
how long must she be made to fall from grace
withered and beaten with lines of pain on her face.

Please see this angel who walks through your door
please see the angel you never saw before
see her tears and hear her cries
because if you dont listen now
lonely she dies.

Who lifts the angels
from dying in misery

for never being strong*~

hey I just wanted to say
that I am feeling lost and lonely today...
and I am trying hard to make you understand
when what I really need is for you to take my hand
and hold me tight
so I can fade away
just for a little while
until I feel OK....

tell me everythings going to be alright
so I dont have to think anymore tonight.
everything is on overload
and my head feels like it will explode
and I try so hard to be strong
because I can't be weak
but all I feel is wrong.
I just don't get it
I don't understand

so baby just hold me close and take my hand..
whisper in my ear all the things I want to hear
soothe me now wipe away my tears.
Take that step and enter my world

just for one single moment

the one I have never been
