About this poem:
In a rush to get to an appointment this morning I rushed out the door into the front yard and stepped right into a very large pile of dog? @!&% boy was I mad! So on the way to the appointment I thought of this one! :)

From the second I awake I long to be with you! To feel your soft body so very close to mine. You resting your head on my chest, and in the silence of the moment hearing our hearts beat as 'one.' It is then I realize what Webster meant when he so eloquently defined 'paradise.' To look at your beautiful face whenever you walk towards me in a crowd while watching the envious stares of other guys as you do gives me a feeling of both pride and joy. Taking your hand as we stroll along the shore and stopping to 'steal' a kiss as the waves softly caress our feet is just a little bit of heaven! My love for you is much deeper than any ocean, you are my life. Without you I have no life, it is your love, passion, and sensuality that set my soul on fire! I 'feel' your love even without your utterance of one word. It's in the way you tilt your head and give me 'my' special look that lets me know how you feel! The sheer jubilance of knowing that you love me is a privilege I'll never take for granted. Having you, my friend, my lover, my extraordinary mate gives me an inexplicable sense of belonging and pleasure! I love, need, and desire you...for without 'you' there is certainly no 'me!'

About this poem:
I though of the basic idea for this rendering while flying home. Looking out at the moonlit 'star-filled' sky my mind gravitated to the romantic indications the moon evokes.

If only my wishes and dreams would come true, I'd see a better place for me and you. We'd be where we need to be at this point in our lives. The deepest of desires we would share if only my wishes and dreams would come true. Never could I imagine me without you, living in a lonely cold world of blue. Being together forever and adoring only you...this I'd be so willing do. If only my wishes and dreams would come true!
