Love is but a word
A crazy one or not as absurd
That feeling of giddiness
unbalanced dizziness
Makes you feel light and happy
Not a hint of ever feeling crappy
I miss that feeling but I'm not bitter
I know my time will come again I'm no quitter
In the meantime I'll enjoy this new me
This independence this new glee
I feel giddy
I feel dizzy
No longer crappy
Just a natural happy
and this time....... the feeling is for me!!!

Its actually crazy
How things slowly become hazy
Its cool
I've been there, been that fool
But now its all done
I'm smiling again and feel whole even with no-one
I'm finding my feet
Bit shaky but I'm stable and concrete
Im not sorry for letting go
It was best before you become my foe
I'm ready to be out there again
Just a pity you choose not be a friend

About this poem:
This poem is about me - letting go and getting peace after a divorce - no anger no hatred no blackmail just contentment and peace within.
Although my ex wants absolutely nothing to do us (me and the kids) - we embraced the situation and moving forward - wishing him good luck with his future.
