The Language Of My Soul

The language of my soul
Unwritten, unspoken

It doesn't reverberate
In the halls of your fame

It wouldn't be displayed
In the walls with your name

Nor will it be heard
In your silence

It will lay dormant
Inside my heart

Content to be locked

My soul beyond your touch.

my prison

once in a while, you're still able
to work your ways on my prison
as if I gave you the code
so you can come in and out
anytime you want

I don't suppose it's a provision
of our parting agreement
when we dissolved our connections
when we decided to kill love
knowing that it was still alive

I did say when we move on
we'd never look back
nor wish any other way, but forward
I remember you said, I was the best
and I told you, too, that so were you
the one I'd have loved forever

now we both know, nothing stays the same
even my prison will evolve
and the code you hold will change
because I am sure, pretty soon
I'll be in isolation
where nothing exists but memories.

illusions

thoughts of leaving
never had much pain
for now I am contemplating
not to yield, nor resist
for the calls
of love, I just know
deep in my heart
you're just passing through
illusions abound
dreams draped
in her sultry look
full of ambitions
stuck deep in her roots

I am not who you seeked
nor will respond to your needs
my counsel is close
soon my curtain's finality
is set among the silence
of the undead
illusions and shadows
breeding in my sorrows

out of cognition
just illusions
you love me?
I beg your pardon
it can't be
can't you see?

I was never meant to be
in your arms, in your heart

you're bound for those
thriving in their youth
and I will walk alone
on my own...again...
loving you
is always going to be..
a breath of my insanity

goodbye

how fragile it all is
this wounded pride
leading us to fray
and believe no more-
lies and deceit
creeping in our minds
disheartening and hurting
tweaking our will to give in
just because our heart is blind
yet we know deep down
truth will change everything
truth will lead us to the cliff
that secures our death warrant
why prolong the pain
why bleed us dry
why not just stand strong
and say goodbye?

I have to admit
this was one wild adventure
and I am grateful.

rules of the games

It's a gross negligence
committed on eradication
of poverty and ignorance
to show the world
that we've reached the point
where man should be equal
and, to ignore and
breach the reasons
as to our awakening
in sharing not only the pain
but also that of our gains
standing in reluctance
for lending a hand
to the deafening resignation
of the living dead
the poor and the lowly
is the antidote of humanity
a defined line
upon which we stand and claim
can change in a matter of seconds

would we kneel and beg upon the Gods
to open our eyes and hearts
our reasons, on hold for defiance
because tomorrow
you might be on their toes
while trodding in your shoes?

have you forgotten
the signature of times
when the "have nots"
took the stage and raised their arms?
intolerance, to say the least
is an understatement
when your stomach cringe
and your mind is twisted
from the pangs of hunger

would you then submit
to their viable claim
that fate rises to their turn?
and blood of power and greed
will define the future once again
after all when it comes
to the rules of the games
number always wins
6 billion to one, and believe me
you have the least strength
to be the last standing
when the accounting is done

good luck, awareness is a virtue

About this poem:
When the mind swims in the oceans of pains passion gives way to anger against inhumanity.
Should it be a burden to the "haves", or a responsibility to the "have nots", or must we hold hands together and be one? You tell me.

sorrowful moments

etched from the deepest wound
with none to heal the pain
bleeding on a hallowed wall
as it splashes out off my vein

it's not you nor anyone
that causes all these turmoils
nor can I steer off the calls
that can erase all my troubles

at night I lay awake and alone
while the stars shine bright above
I do wish I can hold each one
to help me sort this messy life

it's not like I don't know
only death can stop my sorrow.

just love

either side
wouldn't define
whether it is right
or wrong

either lines wouldn't
guarantee a sound mind
would fall on hazy decisions
but somehow
you do need to make a stand
and stick to what you've
believe all along

and if it is me
that will have to go
I will take it with pride
and gladness
that for a while
I've become a part of you

rare and once in a lifetime
you are exposed
to the rawness of what love is
it shakes the living hell
out of you, deeper than anything
you've ever done

but the truth is,
it has shone your brilliance
to the whole world
and defined you
as the epitome of happiness
that will never be replaced

and that is what I live for

you're the reason

I laugh and cry
I pout and sigh
yes you, the only reason
I want to live and die
perhaps the sun shines
just as it rains sometimes
but this is how it is

there are ups and downs
there are mountains to climb
rivers to wade
lakes and oceans to cross
storms to weather
nightmares to conquer
but with courage
we'll get there

because

we have us
you and I my love
the reasons
why there's love
passions~ full and strong
dreams to weave
life to live
for the next 50 years

are you up to it?
am absolutely thrilled
I'm in it my love
through thick and thin
our love will endure it all
forever. ...

that's a promise
are you in?

when your're broken

waking up with a thunder
and lightning over your head
conscious yet slipping off
to the memories of your pain
all the dark storms
and mounting challenges
shape up again to your troubles
as if you hadn't had enough
and struggles just don't let up
you lost all your strength
and just want to give up
can't find reasons why tears
just don't stop falling
and you stop believing
there's any beauty left in living
you're broken
dead and hopeless
and still can't remember
why you're here in the first place
then
a tiny light shines
from where all the troubles began
and your dreams spring up
one more time
as you raise your head up
and look around
you're not alone
there are more souls
more broken than you are
so stand up
pull yourself together
there is beauty in the breaking
when you forgive
and give love a chance
one more time..

that is just the way it is.

life lived only in dreams

limp and broken
lost and confused
oceans of choices
portals shown
38th something isn't bad
step up from the youth
laid out from the ravages of time
then..
backbone twisted on a weight
hanging over your world
you glanced and knew
there was a chance
was it the song that came with it?
or was it in the frame
of which the soul
was contained?

and so it came
the glorious day of meeting
and the petals bloomed
the oasis of haven
of melting ecstasy burst open
and so it goes
30 years, a mark of which that sows
the final call
and shall be laid to rest
when its time to depart,
at last, my hand in yours
our heart and our soul, unite
while the curtain falls.

in our tombstone- shall read:

a life lived only in dreams

was it?

the bliss

our bodies, laid out
as receptacles for the claws
of non demonic pleasure...
but of angelic nature
oozing from within us
exploding in the choirs of heavens
pure bliss, divine
inexplicable...words of no match
to the labors of our hearts
built up in the tempos
of great melodies and tunes

our skins exploding
with ecstatic sensations
and nothing, nothing
can impede nor disrupt
as we lose ourselves onto this plight
the union of you and me
our mind, bodies, soul and hearts
fused into one
no division...
unbreakable and entwined
with the universe and time
all in the name
of our calls for our creation

we didn't ask to be
just be...
because we are who we are
of needs for pleasure
titillating and endearing
worth every mark of my being
breathing and living
within you
as I wear you
inside me, as I
inside you and so it is

forever..

when I love

when I love
I give it all
my heart, body and soul

love whom that comes
for choices we've no count
but whom love
chose for us

I do love myself
loving you for all of me
and so I crave
to love you
with all that I have

now and for all ways
cause when I love
I give it all
my whole body, my mind
my heart and my soul.

Do you?
