I hope

In the dark
I search
hoping you incarnate
and know I'm waiting
even if I do know
deep down
it might be
on another time

just the same
I will not stop from searching
and wishing
one day, I will..

see you again

I hope.

wasted silence

what lament haven't I felt
yet remain buried
in the silence of my heart
what payers haven't I said
that which not scattered
among the clouds
oh but the rain
keeps flooding my pain
and no let up
but someday you'll know
the truth that which I kept
in my grave will have to rest
wasted in my silence.

Be Afraid Not To Love

Love might cut us raw
Chilled to the bones
It can break us into pieces
Bleeding us dry
It can make us kneel
And bury us alive
Yet it is the only truth
That is constant and unchanged
The only connection
That can join our hands
Melt the beatings of our hearts
Warm our flesh
And fuse our souls into one
Only love
Nothing else
So don't be afraid
To always fall in its realms
Embrace it with trust
Even when doubts
Are like explosives
That can tear us apart
Be afraid not
Grab unto it
Ride its ups and downs
Because when you're cold
Alone and lonely at night
When day seems so long and dark
You'd better believe it

Love is the only truth
That can bring us back to life

Nothing else, nothing
Just love
So be afraid not
Go on, get hurt
Tread the storms in its path
Face it, because
Only in love we're alive

I have never been afraid
Even as tears flow incessantly every night
Because only in love
Can love begets love.

heart and soul

red roses adorned
memories

folded, gone

replaced by fresh hugs
touch that melts my heart

the ray of the morning sun

seeping through two souls
conjoined as one

happy valentines my love.

T'was The Night Of The Inauguration

This is a masterpiece....loved it!????????

I didn't write this, someone sent to me on my mail.

Enjoy!!!
Subj: Twas the Night Before Inauguration...
Twas the night before Inauguration, and up in the tower,
The Donald reflected on his newfound power.
The conservative masses had come out in force,
And delivered a victory that would chart a new course.

The snowflakes were shell-shocked with tears in their eyes,
The media lied to them . . . What a surprise.
They had been promised a Hillary win,
But the criminal Clinton took one on the chin.

And though from all corners celebrities flew,
They made no impression, for they hadn’t a clue.
They talked about climate, racism, and such,
And they made up good stories . . . But didn’t know much.

The fake news and ignorance came at a cost,
And they can’t understand all the reasons they lost.
They blame it on Comey and Bernie and Vlad,
But fail to acknowledge the one that was bad.

Yes, Hillary Clinton, in many ways flawed,
Was her own biggest hurdle toward getting the nod.
The campaign exposed her corruptness and greed,
And her speeches were punch-less as ten dollar weed.

So out in the streets there arose such a clatter,
It was Soros-paid protestors and Black Lives Matter.
With cities to pillage and windows to smash,
They knew not the issues, but needed the cash.

Eight years of Obama had given them cause,
To expect a replacement of their Santa Claus.
But soon the protestors will feel the pain,
When the wheels fall off of the old gravy train.

And now all the snowflakes are riddled with fear,
Upset and offended by things that they’ll hear.
The cocoa and crayons will help for a while,
But fact-based opinions will soon cramp their style.

I originally supported anyone but Cruz,
In the end I would vote for whoever they choose.
He may not have been my first choice, but soon I would cede,
The one they call TRUMP is the one that we NEED!

I saw him on TV in front of a crowd,
He spoke about veterans, it made me feel proud.
He spoke about energy, safety, and jobs,
Taking this country back from the Washington snobs.

He was dressed in Armani, all tailored and neat,
And the Brunos he wore made the outfit complete.
For a man of his vintage, he seemed rather fit,
And he looked presidential, I have to admit.

His eyes glowed like embers, his smile was the best,
And his hair was the color of my old hunting vest.
His love for this country was on full display,
And his actions spoke louder than his words could say.

He thanked all his voters, and before he was gone,
Saved thousands of jobs while Obama looked on.
The fate of this country left nothing to chance,
So, he filled out his cabinet weeks in advance.

The men he had chosen were of the same mind,
Let’s set the bar high, and not lead from behind.
He picked up his phone as he rose from his seat,
With a flick of his finger, he sent out this tweet;

“Now Mattis! Now Kelly! Now Sessions and Pruitt!
On Perry! On Flynn, You’re the ones who can do it.
Start lifting restrictions and building the wall,
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!!”

The roar of his audience rose from the stands,
He kissed all their babies and shook all their hands.
He answered their questions and calmed all their fears,
They knew it would be a fantastic four years.

Then he jumped in his limo, and off to his jet,
A fellow that Liberals won’t soon forget.
He sent one more tweet as the evening expired;
“Happy Inauguration to all,
AND OBAMA – YOU’RE FIRED.

I will be with you always

why do we fear the truth?
every line written
every word spoken
every action taken
are but lies..

can't hide the truth
all will be bared
face the consequences
before it's too late

complicated you are,
deeply rooted
impenetrable, wild
swimming in the labyrinth
of a tortuous past

yet not your fault
you were packaged as is
to walk on this life
don't fight it
you're gifted and blessed
now stand up to it
embrace and be pleased

I am here with you
don't be afraid!
all the troubles
all the struggles
we'll take it together
here and now..

I will be with you
always

and that is a promise.

my strenght

deliverance of my strength
rising up to the melody
of my weakness
confidence and robust trust
with you I am melted
reduced to the submission
of my indomitable will
relentlessly yet yielding
into the claws of your dominance

impaired and restrained
I am swimming
in the wilderness of obscurity
with the intensity of abominable
and injurious apathy
I am, for once, dwindling
in the plight of the wind
dignity and pride escape me
but not losing sight
of the last drop of hope
I will hang unto

and as the seagulls
fly over me one more time
halfway buried
in the arid heat of the sand
as their eyes pierce me
with disdain and contempt
advancing towards my harmed
and languid body
I will not laugh, nor will I cry
but stand on my last ounce of force
shout back...

"is this all you've got?"

and while bleeding halfway to death
I will not give up!!

I will gather back all my strength
and with my fist curled up to the sky
believing one last time-

this is my one and only life..
only me can save me
from my own self destruct
and with the choirs of the angels
I rise up
with my will intact
never to lose this battle
I will fight back

because...

my strength is unbroken
my hope is unyielding
my love is forgiving
and I...am still standing
fighting, with all my strength
until my last breath is charged

there is no other way.

About this poem:
I am celebrating the 2nd year of my clearance from the call of my rare cancer, (one in a million) when I was given at most 90 days to live, yet again. My 6 specialists and the one I love then, went through with me step by step until the last moment of the remarkable call, that miraculously, I was not only healed but like nothing ever afflicted me..My gratefulness forever with whom lent me his heart, mind and soul on this journey. And to all of you on here who were all there for me. Thank you all guys. Tears are running wild at the moment creating my own OCEAN OF JOYS to be still with you.

Thank you always..

a new strength found when defeat is unyielding
strong and unforgiving

but your presence is inspiring
and your love is the crown of my hopes

Shared not for sympathy, I am way past that...But for all to know that life is good...and beautiful, when we feel the sun's warmth, believe it. Life is short...Spend it usefully and gratefully. No matter how bad it is or was, IT IS STILL A VERY BEAUTIFUL LIFE..

Thank you all..

I'm so done

let's step back
I'm lost
being alone, being free
is a precious state

I'd needed no one
just my crazy mind
on a shallow ground
I'm all alone

so let me be
there is no love in me
for you or anyone
just me, free

alone, and that's how it is
please feel no pity
nor sorrow for me
joy and happiness
will always be my enemy

for now, I'm okay with that,
wouldn't you be?

I am.

disappearance

you walk on by
brackish in thoughts
turbid and livid emotions
swimming in your cold heart
did you disappear out of impulse?
or was it planned?
doesn't matter
your weakness ruled your mind
you should have known
thriving in ignorance
isn't my strength

and certainly not
forgetfulness

in reality I thought:
I'd never see you again

at least now
I can put my mind to rest
knowing you're alive and well.

Happy Birthday to our friend Phil

POEM FOR PHIL ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Universal Father, Thank you for showing
Your creation, a good human being
Bless Phil, his wonderful virtues shining
His pieces of poetry are gems sparkling
His exemplary kindness truly inspiring
Too unselfish, so caring and giving
Almost saintly, generous and loving
Making memories for us, he"s endearing
Like an angel guide fully protecting
Exemplary patience, courage fascinating
His humility, we'll be remembering
Protect him Lord with your continuous blessing
A grace, a gift to the world for your keeping!

My wishes

When our strength is challenged
Under horrific conditions
When our spirit is low
And our hopes spiraled down
To the abyss
I can't seem to grasp a good thought
Nor can I muster a word
That brings sunshine and laughter
To our broken world
And yet deep down my heart
Bleeding so incessantly
In the silence of the night
Still wish somehow
When the morning comes
So does a new tomorrow
That is filled with peace and love
And happiness for all mankind

If only....wish is all it takes to make it happen...
