LOVE BLEEDS

Last night i shot an arrow, deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed
And now the price i truly fear
that Love will go away from here

Oh Love .. how can i take your pain
and drink the blood that i did drain
I'd give my soul
I'd give it twice
If I thought it could pay the price

Last night I shot an arrow deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed
And now the price I truly fear
that Love will go away from here

Oh Love .. if you do not remain
I'll never breathe a breath again

Last night I shot an arrow deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed

About this poem:
This poem is about confession and forgiveness ..
About how we sometimes hurt the ones we love, and plead for forgiveness.. Hoping to regain our place of " Love " once more, in their hearts.
About how a woman (me) fell from grace.
In this case I was speaking to the God of my heart ..... GOD himself, because God IS LOVE and the expression of the Truest and most Pure Love in all its forms.
The " Arrow " represents the hurt or injury that I had incurred on the other individual, GOD.
"THE PRICE" to be paid, is a life without Love, Without GOD, whose son Jesus Christ, was crusified and hung on the cross, bleeding to pay the price for all the sins of mankind.
In this poem I had denied GOD ( My Sin ), and was pleading for forgiveness.
To " Drink The Blood That I Did I Did Drain", Is to take communion, to partake of the blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross for the sins of mankind.. to take back the denial. To repent. That I will not leave Love bleeding, to have been crusified for nothing.
" I'd Give My Soul, I'd Give It Twice " is to offer up what is most valuable in a human being, what is the most valuable of me, and the only sacrifice acceptable .. My Love! My Soul!
" Oh Love .. if you do not remain, I'll never breathe a breath again " means that without Love and Forgivenes , I will surely die.
And Finally, to repeat the very first verse of the poem again, is to confess my wrong doing.

THE OTHER SIDE OF CONFUSION

Looking for the other side of confusion
Unwinding from the edge of the day
Silence takes the place of mass delusion

We can spread our wings
We can leave this place
we can both fly away

Riding with the wind blowing through my hair
No accounting for the time or a troubled care
If I had a wish, I would take you there
We could go away, we could go far away

Everybody needs a little time and a chance to run free
No commitments and no compromises
no possessions or strings

We could find a refuge from intrusion
Blocking out the ringing of the phone
Silence takes the place of mass confusion

If I had a wish I would take you along, I would take you along .........

About this poem:
Its pretty simple. Wanting to break free from the B.S, of a chaotic world, he jumps on his Harley leaving the world behind and wanting to take a certain someone along for the ride.

RETURN TO SENDER

Setting: While sorting mail at the post office the post master finds a baby wrapped as a package.

Return to sender! You've got the wrong place!
Try address correction or maybe a trace.

A special delivery from the new world above
A package so fragile, the postmark says LOVE

There must be an angel who will intercede
Return to sender and fulfill the deed

So package in arms and heaven in sight
She offers the child recieved by the light

Then all at once, a voice from above says
No mistake or misplacement!
The child is Love!

RETURN TO SENDER!

About this poem:
God sends his love to mankind via The US Postoffice. At first man is confused, thinking a mistake has been made. Then upon realizing that the newborn is heaven sent, he calls for one of Gods angels to take it back. God then voices his intent.
The package is an infant child, (Gods Love) sent by God representing a pure love and the new life that it offers, if only it were returned.
Hence ... God wants to LOVE US, and BE LOVED BY US in return .............

I COULD FOREVER SLEEP

I dream a friendly stranger, who warms me in the night
He loves me while I'm sleeping and leaves before the light

But, when I wake in morning, I find nobody's there
A wrinkled sheet and pillow case, and strands of his dark hair

I'm haunted with this passion that burns my body deep
I just can't wait to go to bed, I could forever sleep ...........
