The Greatest Failure

The Greatest Failure

Dear Sweet Lilly of the Valley,
Drinking in the sun of love, and manifesting this beauty to the world, it seems that my inspiration for you today is about the nature of failure and hurt.

And it is this, that out of the greatest failure comes the greatest success,
that out of the darkest of nights, including the darkest of our souls, comes the greatest awakenings of light within us,
and that out of hurt comes the realization that we are so infinitely stronger to go forth and to love, give, create and serve.

Consider the loveliest flower in the world, whatever you may think it is. Is it not the greatest failure, as it germinates underground?

Put yourself in its place: only darkness, and cold, and the absence of contact other than with the dirt, and a little nurturing water, but still totally dark, and just begging and imploring to get the heck out of the ground.

It beseeches, it prays, it implores, it threatens, it bargains, it gets angry, and yells
"why is this taking so long? Why did I ever consent to be a flower, let me just be a fast growing weed",
as it stumbles into the depths of the flower depression of its soul.

But then, Voila, grace, awakening so sudden, its miraculous, it bursts forth from the ground, buds, blossoms, blooms and flowers into the majesty of its creation, and shines forth for all the world to revel in its glory grandeur and beauty.

And, it appears that all that effort of struggling to burst forth from its seeds of beauty, along with this universe of love in its infinite grace had everything to do with it, but just not in its sense of time as it never will with us.

And, this it seems it is the same for us, as the greater we struggle ,submitted to truth of whom we are, the sons and daughters of a creation, creator of light send love, results in the awakening and the forging of the hardest steel of infinite beauty of the flowers of our self.

Thus, beautiful lady of light and love, consider that all the failures and hurts so great that tears were never enough ,were just the signs of your greatest triumph, that is the full blossoming,
flowering, and awakening to the glory and grandeur of you.

And, it appears from my sense of time, and contact with the divine, that it is about to happen very, very soon.

So, do not be surprised if all of a sudden you are reaching for the sky in the deepest of gratitude of becoming that most wonderful, and most beautiful flower in existence that just feels infinite peace, and joy, that has infinite wisdom, abundance, and prosperity, all from the struggles to which you have submitted, and from which you have realized that all that is left is the miraculous beauty of your soul, now manifest as this flower of infinite delight for the world to enjoy as you.

A New Dawn...

It doesn´t interest me if you are young or old, if you are the most handsome being on earth or not,
As beauty is in the eye of the beholder and age only a state of mind.
I want to know if anyone can see the inner beauty that I see when I´m looking into your eyes and reaching deep into your soul?

It doesn´t interest me what you are, who you are and who and what you are searching for.
I want to know if you will b able to recognize me when you see me,
walk beside me, take my hand and dance with me?
And then, will you stop searching?

It doesn´t interest me how many languages you speak, what education you have,
If you have read Shakespeare, Freud or Socrates.
I want to know if you can read between the lines, decipher my writing, interpret the symbols,
read my mind and my deepest thoughts, feel what I feel, speak the language of love
and are not afraid to speak it with me?

I am not interested in all your past stories, your pains, hurts, heartbreaks and glories.
I want to know if you can enjoy the present moment
without looking back at what you have been missing, what you should have done,
the regrets and the guilt,
and are ready to step forward with me into the mystic
both looking in the same direction?

Show me a man who is not afraid of opening his heart
and I´ll show you a woman who can melt yours and take your breath away,
just by looking into your eyes and wipe your tears away with hers.

Show me a man who has many friends and yet, who is all alone,
and I´ll show you a woman who is happy in her own company
and can fill your loneliness with the heat of her fire
and warm up your coldest winter nights.

I am not interested in where you live and how much distance there is between us,
As love is universal and I am only a heartbeat away.
You just have to call out my name and I´ll come running to you.

I am not interested whether you are rich, poor, strong or weak.
You might have the power, but you can´t buy love with all the riches in the world.
I just want to know if you are able to support me in my wildest endeavours and my lowest moments,
and also have the strength to catch me if I fall?

And together we shall never die of hunger, nor be thirsty for love, nor die of boredom,
As we will have our laughter to keep us going,
the fountain of love to drink out of
and the fire of our passion to feed our soul.

Are you an animal lover? Are you afraid of wild animals?
And are you prepared to take risks to tame me?
Then I can make myself so small so that I can fit in the palm of your hand,
for you to take me into your heart
and I´ll be your totem animal to guide and protect you till the end of life, or life as we know it.

About this poem:
I wrote this In August 2012 after a synchronicity of events that had taken place prior to that and getting inspired by a beautiful poem from one of my favourite authors which encouraged me to write more verses about my own personal life.
On that day, I woke up from a lucid dream at 5.55am with the above verses given to me through my dream.

Dancing With The Four Winds

Starting in the south, I felt safe and warm with the heat of the sun and the light that shines in all of us.
I encountered the serpent who taught me how to walk softly on this earth with beauty and incapability.
She showed me how to shed my skin and how to keep alive with survival instincts.
But, as I left my past behind, I slowly grew a new one.
Nevertheless, mother serpent is still with me with her strength of transmutation.

Going toward West, place of the setting sun, I then followed the footsteps of Mother Jaguar who took me to the deepest parts of the jungle, deepest part of the psyche,
showing me her powers of the luminous warrior, the one with no enemies,
who lives in peace with nature.
She helped me to face my fears and leave all my shadows behind.

In the winds of the North, my little humming bird came to join me,
bringing me laughter during moments of sadness
and taught me not to take things so seriously and laugh at every opportune moment
and to sing our little song which is deep in our heart
and to continue on our epic journey without losing our beauty.

In the East, place of the rising sun, where new ideas are created,
the great eagle came along, the one who flies above all.
I was taken to great heights to see life from another perspective
and I am still in the process to grow my own wings
so I can fly with him and the great spirit into infinity.

When we have left this merry go round, this circle of life,
and can shed our stories and the death that has been stalking us,
we can fulfil our destiny
and then live in peace for eternity.

The Thousandth Man

0NE man in a thousand, Solomon says,
Will stick more close than a brother.
And it's worth while seeking him half your days
If you find him before the other.

Nine hundred and ninety-nine depend
On what the world sees in you,
But the Thousandth Man will stand your friend
With the whole round world aging you.

'Tis neither promise nor prayer nor show
Will settle the finding for 'ee.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em go
By your looks, or your acts, or your glory.

But if he finds you and you find him,
The rest of the world don't matter;
For the Thousandth Man will sink or swim
With you in any water.

You can use his purse with no more talk
Than he uses yours for his spendings,
And laugh and meet in your daily walk
As though there had been no lendings.

Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em call
For silver and gold in their dealings;
But the Thousandth Man he's worth 'em all
Because you can show him your feelings.

His wrong's your wrong, and his right's your right,
In season or out of season.
Stand up and back it in all men's sight
With that for your only reason!

Nine hundred and ninety-nine can't bide
The shame or mocking or laughter,
But the Thousandth Man will stand by your side
To the gallows-foot - and after!

La Bohème

Song translated from French

Let me tell of a time when the world was in rhyme
With the sound of our laughter
Montmartre hanged with flowers for far-forgotten hours
Of hunger and of love

Unaware in our youth of the sobering truth
Of the years that came after
We laughed at common men for we were heroes then
And heaven smiled above

La boheme, la boheme
Poor hungry you, poor hungry me
La boheme, la boheme
See the old world that could not see

All those innocent hearts who imagined their arts
Could be casually mastered
I miss them every one
For the sands of time have run away for each and all

For it seems that our schemes were impossible dreams
That could never have lasted
For when we woke at last the big parade had passed
And spring had gone its way

La boheme, la boheme
Someone to care, someone to mind
La boheme, la boheme
We were in love and love is blind

Now and then I return and the memories burn
With a bittersweet aching
I climb the same old stairs
But no-one longer cares

And there's no-one to greet in the streets where we walked
And the bars where we talked of a world we were making
I stand upon that hill until I drink my fill
Then leave it all behind

La boheme, la boheme
Moments of joy, moments of pain
La boheme, la boheme
Nothing can bring them back again

About this poem:
Was just going down memory lane... my days in Paris... when I heard this song on the radio.

I can actually relate to it as I lived near the Sacré Coeur and used to watch the artists - and even sometimes posed for some of them.

Extract From A Love Sonnet XVII

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where

I love you simply without problems or pride

I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving
but this, in which there is no I or You.

So intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand

So intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.

Love Quotes

I love you not for whom you are,
but who I am when I'm by your side.

No person deserves your tears,
and who deserves them won't make you cry.

Just because someone doesn't love you as you wish,
it doesn't mean you're not loved with all his/her being.

A true friend is the one,
who holds your hand and touches your heart.

The worst way to miss someone is,
to be seated by him/her and know you'll never have him/her.

Never stop smiling not even when you're sad,
someone might fall in love with your smile.

You may only be a person in this world,
but for someone you're the world.

Don't spend time with someone,
who doesn't care spending it with you.

Maybe God wants you to meet many wrong people,
before you meet the right one,
so when it happens you'll be thankful.

Don´t cry because it came to an end,
smile because it happened.

There will always be people who'll hurt you,
so you need to continue trusting, just be careful.

Become a better person and be sure to know who you are,
before meeting someone new and hoping that person knows who you are.

Don't struggle so much,
best things happen when not expected.
